Detroit Lakes vacation rentals

Great rental for our extended family. Loved the hot tub, large tv, large kitchen - plenty of room for us to spread out.

We enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed to cook meals, we used the fire pit, used the sauna, and enjoyed the yard.

Our first every Air BnB stay and was well worth the money! Having lots of kids that wanted to fish nonstop or do something Rayna’s place made it so easy to wear the kids out . Loved the outdoor/indoor games for family time. Loved the sunset/sunrise view off the deck . We all made use of the paddle boat and dock ! Rayna left something for the adults and children when we arrived !! She was very responsive!! We even got to check out her restaurant not too far away !!

Great place to stay for a few days! The beds and couch were super comfy. I also appreciates the water filter pitcher that was in the fridge. Our host was informative and very accommodating. Would visit again!

This was a great home for our extended family. The indoor and outdoor amenities were excellent. We had lots of fun with the games in the garage.

Great place to stay!

We needed a place close to our tiny cabin that had more room for our kids to come and celebrate my wife’s 75th birthday. We brought our pontoon over from our lake and a couple of kayaks. This home had more outdoor toys that added to our fun weekend. The second night everyone slept through the night train coming through. Buchanan lake is a shallow calm lake for a relaxing weekend.

Our group is a bunch of busy adults that needed some time to connect as friends. We all have a variety of interests, and this rental met all our needs. From equipment to enjoy being on the water, games to hangout in the yard, or comfortable places to sit and catch up - we had it all.

This was the nicest Airbnb we’ve ever rented, no exaggeration at all. There were too many superlative and complete features to list them all, but here are a few: * We’ve become accustomed to cheap, uncomfortable living room furniture at Airbnb’s. But here both TV viewing rooms had comfy, powered recliners/powered reclining couches! And two 65” TVs! * The appliances were upscale and the kitchen was completely outfitted! * We’ve stayed in many airbnbs that had a shortage of towel bars and places to put your clothes while showering. Both bathrooms had 5 double hooks - 10 hooks to hang towels and clothing. * The lighting in both bathrooms was superb, great for shaving, applying makeup, etc. * We only used 2 of the 5 sleeping areas, but our beds and pillows were wonderful. * Our weather was rainy the entire visit, so we can’t wait to return to enjoy the large deck with a nice gas grill, ample seating and table.

What a gem!! We stayed at Sandy Shores for a few days on a road trip through Wisconsin and Minnesota. Wish our schedule had allowed us to stay longer. This place was awesome. The lake and view were incredible... loved the screened in porch. The home inside was immaculate with anything we needed to make our stay perfect. Quiet and peaceful. We were located only a few minutes from Lake Itasca State Park where we walked across the Mississippi River. Checked off another bucket list item. Highly recommend this rental. Check in was smooth and we had no problems with during stay.

We loved our stay in this adorable cabin. It had everything we needed with great lake access and a beautiful view. Perfect for our family getaway. ….and the fishing was excellent too!

A charming cabin nestled in the woods on Little Sand Lake. Clean, quaint, comfortable beds, full kitchen amenities, pool table, sling tv and great water activities! The location was amazing in the middle of everything and easy to drive to activities in Park Rapids, Dorset or Nevis. We enjoyed outdoor time and evening pontoon rides and kayaking on the calm waters. We will definitely be back!

A high quality place to relax for a few days by water. Very nice and lots of beds for a big group. Tom was very responsive, informative, and helpful if needed. Would recommend.

Just had a wonderful weekend at Dan and Catherine's house in Alexandria. We were 10 older folks there to bike the Central Lakes Trail, and this was very convenient. I can't find any fault with our hosts or the accommodations. The house was spacious. Each of us had their own room, and the two bathrooms was adequate for what we needed. There is a really nice patio with a table that seated everybody, and fire ring where we sat on evening for a campfire, and a large dining table indoors. Everyone agreed it was a great place to stay. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty to do indoors, but we didn't take much advantage of it because the weather turned spectacular so we mostly stayed outside. Highly recommend these hosts!

The only thing would be is the sound transfer between floors

My Wife and I loved staying at Kristin's cute cabin. We has success fishing (nice panfish, one 14" bass) off the dock, and finished with a nice campfire. Cabin was cozy and easy to adjust temperatures if needed. The privacy was really nice allowing our 2 dogs to not be stressed out, and they could get all their sniffs out. Would recommend this cabin to anyone, and we would stay again!

This cabin on lake Ida was so beautiful and perfect for our weekend stay! Sofia was an amazing host, and helped me out whenever I had questions. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! Our girls weekend here was so much fun! Highly recommend!!

Place is in one of the most beautiful locations on the lake, a great neighborhood. Sarah was very responsive and went above and beyond!

Charming cabin right on the lake. Our family loved being on the water and enjoying the patio. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This stay was everything we needed and more. The house was fully stocked with anything we could’ve possibly needed, and having the sound of waves and lake access right out the front door was incredibly relaxing. This cabin is so peaceful and incredibly private, it felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. My son got hooked on fishing for the first time, and I’m still not sure who had more fun—us or the dogs! The hosts were responsive and kind, and even our troll-hunting adventures were just a short drive away. We’d absolutely stay again.

“Scandifornia” is an absolutely beautiful lake home, and we so enjoyed spending our weekend festivities there. The entire space is so thoughtfully laid out and stocked with just what you need. Convenience and the most gorgeous lake views. It was perfect! My sisters and I hope to come back in the future with our families.
