Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Lots of room inside and out to enjoy this hidden gem. Located on Netley Creek in Petersfield with a private beach to enjoy all the outdoors and if the weather is not perfect enjoy the pool table, shuffle board and dart board inside. Ample parking. Boat dockage available with a local boat launch And if you are into hunting or fishing the marsh is only a short boat ride away. The house is set up as a duplex and we live in the other side.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The lake/beach was beautiful! So peaceful and relaxing. It was a bit smaller than we expected but we managed fine! A few things needed fixing and could have been cleaner but overall we had a great time and spent quality time with our family. The hubby and sons were out catching fish right in front of the cabin! Fun places to tour close by as well.

This is our second year coming to Brad, we like both the house and the location. Close to the lake, everything you need in the house. Thanks to the owners!

Love My Matlock Cottage. Beach just steps away...

Get ready for a step back in time. Your holiday will be filled with nostalgia. We really enjoyed the Matlock area, plus quiet and friendly neighbors. Just a quick hop into Wpg Beach for the market, laundry, and a few restaurants. Some of the places have random hours. We really like Trebles. Of course you have to watch for the mosquitos in early AM and late evening. Bring your lotion or spray. But that is Manitoba. The house has a lot of nick-nacks so if you have kids or a pet, you may want to put some items out of reach. We stayed 3 weeks and at the end of the stay we did not want to pack our car and leave for the city. Enjoy the short walk to the pier and if you are brave the water is about 60 defrees F. Too cold for us but many folks were swimming every day.

Cozy cottage, minutes from the beach

What a fantastic place. We found it while trying to plan Mom's 86th birthday. A goldmine of memories for her because she grew up in Winnipeg and later lived in Winnipeg Beach, decades ago. How many things remained the same, according to her. Gimli is a short drive up the road where we spend a few afternoons reminiscing and gathering supplies. Grand Beach was a full day trip with plenty of options for a picnic. Our 'destination' was Eve's Cozy Cabin. Everything else was just a bonus and we would do all over again in a heartbeat.
