We loved our stay in the cottage - it was the perfect location for a wedding we were attending and provided a great base for a few days in the area. Check in was straightforward and Jaines instructions were easy to follow. For a small additional cost we were able to bring our dogs at last minute which was super helpful.

We loved staying at the cottage! It was pristine inside and out and with beautiful furnishings. The living area through to the kitchen, conservatory and patio made it feel spacious and lots of light flooded in. The woodburning stove on a rainy day was a highlight! We would definitely return. Diane was a great host, very proactive and friendly! Highly recommend!

Stayed for 3 nights at this remarkable property. If you are contemplating holidaying here I urge you do it, just book it now! husband, dog & I revelled in this haven of a house and it felt mansion sized, you can lose yourself among the generously proportioned rooms. The heart of the house being the huge traditional kitchen with welcoming raeburn stove which flows seamlessly into one of the most comfortable living rooms we’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. We loved the tasteful decoration throughout & the carefully curated quirky modern & antique mix of furnishings. Outside the hot tub is of a very high, quality standard & and those powerful wee jets were an absolute tonic after a day’s hillwalking! Did I mention the owner’s attention to detail? And at last, Someone who understands the importance of silky soft & crisp bedding!! Peaceful setting with the joy of hooting owls & the odd stag grazing in the field in the evenings.
