A beautiful place to stay, saved and revived with a lot of love and expertise by the owner Kathrin (restorer) and her family years ago before it decayed. Anyone who sees and enters the house suddenly feels like they are on a journey back in time to the 18th century, in the most pleasant way. And at the same time, you don't have to do without the comforts of modernity (kitchen, bathroom, Wi-Fi). So cozy and tasteful, authentically decorated. We immediately felt very, very comfortable. For example, we used the beautiful house library (novels, travel guides, etc.) and the small front garden, enjoyed the direct view of the Elbe. (The children were also happy about the beautiful wooden toys.) There would be much more to tell, but perhaps better to discover for yourself... 😉 We will definitely be happy to come back when the opportunity arises.

The beautiful and bright apartment is well equipped - especially the kitchen. The location is perfect to quickly reach the biggest highlights of Saxon Switzerland. The contact with Stephanie was super straightforward... in other words: fully recommended!!

I am writing this review for my mother and her husband for whom I booked this apartment. I have been staying at Mandee's castle since the end of June with great pleasure and that was the reason why my mother and partner decided to rent an apartment in the former brewery for a week. We had a fantastic week with the three of us where we were able to explore the wide area and we all came to the conclusion that Saxony has much more to offer than we had previously thought. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped with all facilities, has comfortable beds, plenty of space to sit outside... and as the biggest plus for my mother, the possibility to take their dog Silke with them. I myself will be staying at Mandee until the end of August, and why my stay was extended from initially one month to two months actually says enough. A beautiful place, recommended for anyone who is looking for peace and nature but still wants to have many interesting (worldclass) sights in the near area.

Beautiful apartment in a “soulless” new building, but also with all the amenities of such: underground parking, elevator, good sound insulation. Functional and high-quality furnishings. In 20-25 minutes you can explore the old town on foot.

My family of 3 stayed here for 4 nights. The apartment was clean and well furnished with king bed and single bed as well as good kitchen. The location is perfect for exploring the Saxon Switzerland National Park including the Basei Bridge, Schrammsteine Loop and Konigstein Fortress. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice time in the apartment. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and the apartment was as described and very clean. The apartment was also superbly located, many hiking trails could be reached within a few minutes by foot.

This accommodation is a gem - wildly romantic, located directly on the rock walls of the Bielatal in a historic hunting lodge with the most modern amenities - you immediately feel like a little lord of the manor - in addition, the hiking trails & adventures of Saxon Switzerland start right behind the front door - you can't ask for more - and that at a fair price and two super nice hosts - if you don't book here, it's your own fault!!! Absolutely top class!

we were there as a larger group of girls with children and had a great week, the house has charm and is super cozy. By car you can reach many excursion destinations and there are also nice small hikes in the village. We can only recommend it. The small highlight is definitely the sauna 😊

In my opinion, this vacation home should serve as a model for all Airbnb vacation homes. Namely: A private landlord personally rents out a house at a fair price-performance ratio with special character and unforgettable moments. We were lucky to have found and experienced this beautiful vacation home. Even the journey was a little adventure, especially for the children. The house is situated in a particularly beautiful garden with many different seating options and a great view of the Elbe. We slept very well and were thrilled with how clean and well-equipped the house is. The landlady is very nice, helpful and always responsive. Thank you for the wonderful time, dear Silke and Andree.

We loved our stay at Jenny’s house! It was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Our two toddlers loved the play room! It was well set up with stair gates and cups/plates for the kiddos. The house was always cosy despite -9°C and snow outside. We felt very at home and would definitely come back in Summer to make use of the garden and pool! Jenny was very attentive and came over to help us understand the heating and the electric plug in for our rental car. My only negative would be that it was a bit dusty and dirty under and around the furniture. But we are also maybe a more particular family and wouldn’t want this to discourage anyone from staying!

We had a very good time in the cozy, quiet house with beautiful garden! From there we could do wonderful hikes and hardly needed the car. The contact with Ute and Janko was always friendly, fast and straightforward.

We stayed with 10 family members in the house by the lake (6 adults and 4 teenagers). The house is situated in a quiet environment directly on the lake. The house is very nicely decorated, the bedrooms all wonderfully comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. You can cook very well together and in the living room we had comfortable space at the large dining table. We enjoyed the hours of sun reading outside - there are many nice seating in front of the house and on the two terraces. Shopping is easily accessible by car in a few minutes, and Pirna is also quick. We took the S-Bahn to Dresden, for hiking in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains about 30 minutes by car. Susi and Thomas are great hosts and communication with them was very good. It was a beautiful Easter holiday with the family and we can only recommend the house on the lake.

This is the second time we have stayed at this Airbnb - Tracey and myself travel extensively around the world and this is our favourite place in Germany- it’s well maintained - well Equipped and the hosts are very accommodating. Make sure to try the local bakery out it’s quite a gem 💎 just like the Airbnb

This apartment was perfect for my trip. My girlfriend and I felt very comfortable, she has everything we needed, and she is in a good place in Dresden to visit the city. Torsten was also very understandable about my complicated travel plans and changes. Thanks for all of this!

We were in Saxon Switzerland for a few days for hiking, and the apartment was super suitable for that. The nearest bus or tram station is not too far away. Arsen was very friendly, we were even able to get into the apartment a little earlier.

We spent 3 days in the beautiful place and felt very comfortable. The Lange is very special due to its direct proximity to the Elbe and the beautiful countryside. We definitely wanted to come back. The contact with the hosts was very good.

We stayed at Anna Lena’s place a few years ago and decided to come back. Our apartment was so beautiful with the most precious views of Sebnitz. We appreciated an early check in and felt right at home. A cozy place equipped with everything you need on your vacation. Restaurants and grocery stores were within reach and the town offers a variety of things to do. Anna’s place will definitely stay in our favorites. ☺️

Comfortable and well-equipped apartment. The kitchen in particular had everything we needed for preparing meals. The top flight of stairs is a little challenging if you have big luggage or lots of bags of groceries. The apartment is spacious. Wi-Fi was excellent. The host's parents live in the building and greeted us on arrival. They were very helpful and friendly during our stay, which we appreciated. An excellent collection of information about the area was available in the apartment. Overall, a very pleasant stay in a delightful town.

Cozy, spacious apartment with large bathroom, great location right in the center of Königstein. The apartment was very clean, the contact with the host very pleasant. The only "downer" was the wifi, which significantly fluctuated in a part of the apartment. The apartment is highly recommended for the summer, the location and construction keep the heat outside.
