Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. We are so excited about our conversion. Completely self-contained, it is a lovely, light, cosy open space with a well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a cool sleeping platform/mezzanine. Piddlehinton is a special place, 20 mins from the Jurassic Coast and 10 mins from Dorchester, in the renowned Piddle Valley, with beautiful walks, views and our award winning pub, The Thimble Inn. We are right next door if you need anything, but if you prefer your privacy, you can be totally separate.

The Garden Studio is situated at the top of our garden and nestles on the side of Hardown Hill (National Trust). It boasts spectacular views over the Marshwood Vale. Great for countryside walks around the vale and along the Jurassic Coast. Good restaurants and places of interest at nearby historic towns Bridport and Lyme Regis. Lovely beaches close by at West Bay, Seatown, Eype, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We are approx. 2 miles from Charmouth. The Garden Studio welcomes dogs.

the SHED is really anything but a shed. Built on the site of a former stables, the shed is a bespoke design and build, constructed in 2020 /2021. Built next to a nature pond and coppice within an AONB, living in the shed connects you to the beauty of the natural world. The shed is all about serenity, luxury craftsmanship and escapism. Outside there is a private terrace with Pizza oven, BBQ and outdoor dining and living area.
