House vacation rentals in Donner Lake

Meridith’s place was a wonderful getaway for us, our friends, and our small infant. Cozy, well stocked with kitchen equipment for cooking, Roku tv for streaming, pack and play and high chair for our infant. Couldn’t ask for more! Meridith was a very proactive, friendly, and accommodating host.

Awesome host, they allowed us to check in early and check out late. The home was super spacious for 10 adults. Truly a hidden gem if traveling with the family and looking to be by the lake without the rustle and bustle of south Lake. For the price it’s the best to stay, relax, hike, explore, golf and golf some more.

Keith’s place was absolutely perfect for our family ski vacation. The location can’t be beat and allowed us to ski all throughout the day even if the kids needed to come back and take a rest. Keith‘s communication was great all around. Great place to stay.

Beautiful house that's only minutes from skiing or downtown Truckee. Host was super nice and the place was beautiful. I absolutely loved getting in the hot tub after a day on the slopes.

Our family of 4 has a great peaceful stay at Suzanne's home. We like staying in Tahoe Donner when possible and Suzanne's home was the a great option. She was accomodating to our request before arrival and communicated quickly with questions during our stay. The kids loved discovering the kids rocking chair, sleds, baby books and DVDs! We wished we could have stayed longer. thank you for the hospitality

This was the perfect place for my family's ski vacation. It's very close to the resorts, a very short drive to the main street of Truckee, and very short walking distance to a little shopping plaza with all the basics- grocery, drugstore, ski shop, a few restaurants, etc. The condo complex is nice and peaceful, people are friendly, and the amenities are good too. The apartment itself was excellent. Clean, uncluttered, but had all the basic supplies and stuff that you need but wouldn't bring with you on vacation. Andrew was a friendly and communicative host. It was all in all a very good experience!

Very nice place and super well equipped. The bunk room even has kids' books, which was a very nice touch. Definitely recommend. My only complaint--and I blame Airbnb for this not really the host--is I searched for places with a hot tub and this house doesn't have one. Having a public one at the rec center a mile away that charges admission should not count.

Jing was really accommodating and helpful. We had a great time staying at such a beautiful area. There was plenty of space for our group and it was a great home base for the weekend. Overall the stay was clean, the only drawback was that there isn't a working A/C on this property. Otherwise we enjoyed our time here.

I wish all stays were this perfect. Well-stocked kitchen, spotless, perfect location, easy check-in and check-out, two-car garage. And a fireplace! We had a wonderful time. I couldn’t suggest this place more.

John is an exceptional host and his home is equally as lovely. We had plenty of linens, kitchenware and other home accessories to feel right at home and cook all our meals and be very comfortable. The hot tub is possibly the loveliest hot tub I have ever seen, period. We would book again hands down. Thank you, John.

This home is perfection. Super clean, lots of natural light, nice Kitchen to prepare meals, and no fuss check-in/out. A colleague and I stayed here for work and it the bedrooms/baths were nicely divided between the floors allowing privacy for both of us. We will definitely stay here again on future trips.

Our 5 night stay was very peaceful, private and relaxing. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, with enough bathrooms for all. Saw 2 bears just walking across the street going between the houses which was a bit exciting and captivating. Would definitely stay here again. Aashish's response time was impeccable, thank you!

We have stayed in Lake Tahoe countless times, but this experience was the best. The house has a fantastic layout and views of the lake from everywhere. Our host, Murat, was extremely friendly and courteous. He made our stay extra special. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful setting and home. Very central to all things in north shore/Tahoe City. We had an issue with water - the city struck a water main - and the host was very responsive in getting us info which was so appreciated. A relaxing week for sure.

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

We loved our stay at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, very close to town and the house itself was exactly as described. My dog loved the fenced in deck in the back, we’ll be back!

Very peaceful with beautiful views What a treat to experience such a magical place from this house with its multiple views and decks on every level.

Adam was very responsive throughout the process and answered all questions. He also allowed us to check in a little early which was very helpful with the little ones. House wise it was great and as described. The pics were accurate and really doesn’t capture how big the house is. The open space was great for adults being able to both entertain and watch the kids. The proximity to snow right off the back porch was perfect. Location was great and would definitely recommend and come back.

We stayed here for a bachelor party. There were 5 of us with plenty of space. TV was large with a nice sound bar. Kitchen was loaded with amenities, well-suited for cooking. The hot tub was a lot of fun, plus there are heat lamps on the deck to warm up. Overall very clean place, with lots of nice extras.

We used Gayle’s place to host 8 baseball players and it felt like a vacation. Very peaceful place. Even with 8 bigger guys, there was so much space! We, unfortunately, broke a piece of a dining chair but Gayle was super nice and helpful about the whole situation. Wonderful place to stay and great host!
