We had a super nice stay in Maxen. The apartment is as described - an old house that has been renovated very stylishly. The accommodation is definitely large enough for 8 people (as stated in the description, the 4th bedroom is not separated by a door, you have to be aware of that) and has a beautiful garden. Perfect for a large family or group of friends. Communication with Franziska was friendly and super fast at all times.

The apartment is very quiet in a side street, in the second oldest city in Saxony. In the village, there is a nearby bus stop and a train station, through which you can also quickly get to Dresden or Pirna, for example. In the village, there are two good restaurants (Italian and Greek), as well as a small supermarket and a pharmacy. In the area there are many attractions that can be quickly reached by car (Pirna Old Town, Elbe steamboat, Bastei Bridge, lots of castles and palaces and castle gardens and of course also shopping malls worth visiting, such as the brand new KaufPark, the AltmarktGalerie, the Centrum-Galerie and the shopping mile Prager-Strasse between the main train station and Altmarkt.
