Welcome to the Historic Morgue! An eerie ambience greets you upon arrival..the history runs deep for this building. This antique, nationally recognized, historic building offers antique decor with a modern twist! Morgue decor throughout, rightly so..paying homage to its dark history. This is a loft setting offering a king bed, full size bed, twin and an antique settee(possibly suited for a small child). A large kitchen with small breakfast seating as well as a large table! And that bathroom!

The Grainery with Hot Tub

Welcome to the Grainery! This is a uniquely built grain bin for four, tucked in the edge of the forest in the Ozark Hills. Bring along your smores and enjoy roasting them over a beautiful wood fire and count the stars as you relax in a soothing spa. Need more space, bring an RV with full hook up available for an extra $50 a night. We hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable stay in God’s creation. Come enjoy a peaceful stay in our unique country home, located on our goat cheese dairy in the Missouri Ozarks. Visit with the goats, soak in the hot tub, walk down by the creek, sip your coffee on the gazebo by the pond or the deck, stream a movie on WIFI, get some work done in a calm environment, do it all, or just get a good night's sleep! Our 45 acre farm is only 3 miles from Fordland and 25 miles from Springfield, MO. There are many hiking trails, creeks, rivers and lakes in the area.

Master bathroom has extra large shower and separate large tub for relaxing. All bedrooms have walk-in closets. Large kitchen table for ample seating. Comfort seating around real fireplace. This is also part of a working Longhorn Ranch so expect to see some beautiful cattle. Tour of main ranch can be arranged.

Come stay at the ranch! As we no longer need a farmhand, we are offering the cabin as a place to relax and enjoy the Ozarks at their finest! Come enjoy stunning views, sunrises and sunsets, fresh country air, starlit skies, and of course, cows. All from your porch. The house has been recently repainted, a soaking tub added, and the gas fireplace upgraded. The kitchen is fully furnished and a propane grill provided. Park your vehicle in the shop beside the house. Live the simple life!

Enjoy a countryside retreat! Our family-friendly studio apartment is quiet and cozy, with no one but birds and cows as your neighbors (and us! We live in the main house.) Our studio is the perfect getaway or stop along your travels. Full bathroom, kitchen, laundry, and wi-fi. Enjoy our 1/2 mile nature trail, woodland picnic area with fire pit, & playground! Accommodates up to 3 adults + a baby, 2 adults + 2 children, or 1 adult + 3 children. Cannot house 4 adults. (See bed arrangements!)

Panther Creek Guesthouse

Small farmhouse, private fenced and gated yard, on a tiny farm on a gravel road. Host next door has dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, guineas (1 pair regularly visits/patrols the guesthouse yard), turkeys, a goose, and a couple of LGDs. Horses live across the road and around the curve and up the hill. Eggs and some other basic food items included! Glamping at its finest! Forest Garden Yurts are wooden yurts designed and built by Bill Coperthwaite in the 1970s for Tom Hess and Lory Brown as home and pottery studio. Tucked away in 4 acres of Ozark forest, the yurts are simple in nature yet abound with artistic details. The home yurt has a kitchen, bedroom, and a nook living room. The bathroom yurt is separate but has a covered walk. Unconventional and unique, with hobbit hole doors and low clearances in places.
