Wonderful place to stay. Can't say enough great things! Perfectly secluded and yet easy to find. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful in the chilly evenings. No wi-fi and no TV was actually refreshing! Had everything we needed and plenty of towels for four people. The décor was beautiful. You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into planning and building these grain bins!

Absolutely amazing place! I spent my 43rd bday w my husband and 12yr old son here. It was everything we needed. We cooked dinner here, etc. had everything we needed , although I would recommend brining your own spices (we usually do anyways) as some things were off limits. Also we brought our own toiletries. A DG was also not far. We wondered into Marshfield about ten mins away for breakfast at a cute cafe that was delicious. We had s’mores and got in the hot tub as well as had some fun with the goats! We bought three cheeses & fresh farm eggs. All great prices. The hosts were very sweet and answered any questions…Highly recommend if you want some quiet and tranquility. Loved it.

Thank you to Tamara for being so responsive. We arrived early in Springfield to a deluge of rain; we were cold and somewhat wet. Tamera updated our stay so that we could check in immediately. We stayed at this location at it was close to our son's wedding venue. It was a beautiful location right on the James River; however, it rained the entire time we were there so we did not get to enjoy any of the beautiful outdoors. Would love to go back when it's sunny! Thanks to accurate description and pictures of the home, my in-laws who had not traveled to spend the night elsewhere in 20 years, were very happy with the easy entry and no stairs. The main bedroom and bathroom worked great for them and the recliners off the kitchen helped them both to relax.

Cozy cabin is an accurate description of the place we stayed for a few days. While I wouldn't want to arrive after dark, any difficulty has more to do with the back country roads and relatively remote setting than anything else, which for us was a plus. The cabin was as advertised, and we didn't lack for anything we needed or expected. The shower was strong and hot. The coffee provided was robust. The setting was peaceful and quiet. This would be a great place to stay for day trips through the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mitchell and Mandy's house! Our favorite part was that the master suite is literally the entire bottom floor giving parents their privacy to be romantic AND the soaking tub! The kitchen is absolutely beautiful and has everything you need and the park next to the house is so cute and a nice distraction for the kids. Also, I just want to add that the Price Cutter grocery store in Marshfield has so many healthy options and decent vegetarian/vegan/allergy friendly options for your friends and family who might have dietary differences. Thank you Mitchell and Mandy! We'll be coming back.

Loved the location. Host greeted us and showed us the place. The Little Clay House restaurant in walking distance was a delightful place to eat for lunch, just be aware limited hours and not open on the weekends. Excellent food and decor. Host provided us with some farm fresh eggs and bottled water. Nice touch. We felt very much at home and would stay here again.

We had a very relaxing weekend. This little slice of heaven is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and exactly what we needed. We loved sitting outside and watching the animals. Teddy was the sweetest dog and we loved watching her play with the horses. It was great to meet you both and we look forward to staying again in the future.

The house was very comfortable and clean! Dennis and Susan went above and beyond as hosts. They were so helpful, kind and extremely responsive to any questions. So many extras with the house that we didn’t need anything once there. They thought of everything, plus more! The farm was so peaceful and their little goats were soooo adorable! The house smelled so fresh and clean. Probably the best rental we have stayed for cleanliness. We felt very safe and at home. I would definitely go back when in the area. Best hosts hands down! Thank you for such a cozy home with all the amenities and extras! Blessings

Brittni’s place was comfortable and close to the event that we attended. When I needed anything, she got it for me quickly. I brought my own food and used her large microwave. I slept well because it was so quiet and dark close to the bedroom doors and windows.

This private location was perfect for our family. Just on the outskirts of town made it very convenient. House was decorated with rustic theme and was a warm cozy spot just right for a get away. Very clean spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was set up to accommodate a large group with lots of seating. Living room also had plenty of room to sleep and rest. I highly recommend this home and if we go back to this area will use it again.

We so enjoyed Denise and David, as they were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us feel like family, we shared some great stories of our individual travels, and we had a lot of laughs. The room was clean and comfortable, and her biscuits and gravy were awesome!!! We would recommend staying with them to anyone.

We were greeted warmly from Dave and Denise. At that point, we knew our stay was to be a great one! Dave then helped carry our luggage to our room. We found the bedroom and bathroom neat and clean as expected. After checking in, we left. Later that evening, Denise text to see what time we wanted to eat breakfast. She also asked if there were any dietary restrictions. Sure enough, the next morning our breakfast was prepared and ready. The biscuits and gravy were delicious as the reviews I read. We stayed three nights and each night Denise would send a text requesting what we would like for breakfast and what time we would like to eat. Whatever you’re choosing, you can’t go wrong with their home cooked meal. During our last breakfast, we had a nice visit with Dave and Denise. They are as good as it gets in hospitality. We will be back next year!

My boyfriend and I decided to book an air bnb last minute to celebrate my birthday and found this little gem. Theresa and her family went above and beyond for us and couldn’t complain about a single things. This was definitely an experience and we wish we would have more time to enjoy all the amenities….but I will say the ones we got to experience were awesome. We will definitely be back at some point and plan to be a little more prepared and explore a little more. Thank you to Theresa and her family for helping make my birthday a little more special.
