Vacation rentals with a kayak in Deux-Sèvres

Maison très bien équipée dans un cadre agréable au bord de l'eau. Accès direct pour faire du canoë (à disposition avec le logement). Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Pauline. Elle nous a donné de bons conseils pour notre séjour. Nous recommandons ce logement. Françoise et Christophe

Excellente adresse. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le logement est très agréable (linge de maison à disposition, literie de qualité, café, condiments, etc...) et surtout l'accès direct à l'eau par le jardin permet de partir en balade en bateau sans difficultés (barque, canoë, sac étanche... tout est disponible !). Idéalement situé pour découvrir dans le calme les canaux du Marais Poitevin tout en prenant son temps ! Un gros coup de coeur, pour la maison, le Marais et l'accueil de Nathalie ! Merci !

What a great house and location: a real home from home! Ann was really quick to respond to any questions and the local co-host was so helpful. All the other residents in 'Le Monastère' were friendly and the grounds were delightful. There is so much to do in the area with historic towns and cities to explore as well as the coast and lovely gardens to visit. Vouvant itself has some lovely walks and great bars and restaurants. Its well catered for with a Co-op, Pharmacy and bakery and larger supermarkets are a short drive away. I really feel we've had a good relaxing break. We look forward to visiting Ann's tranquil house again and would have no hesitation to recommend it to our family and friends.

Une très jolie maison et un magnifique lieu au bord de l’eau ! Spacieux, joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Mylène est très agréable et arrangeante si besoin, nous reviendrons avec plaisir dans cet endroit !

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux chez James et son épouse, tous deux très charmants et accueillants. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement reçus. Le logement est situé dans un environnement paisible, où le silence règne : c’est exactement ce que nous recherchions pour nous reposer. La seule chose que l'on entend, c’est le calme absolu… Un vrai bonheur ! Nous avons tous très bien dormi : moi, mon épouse et nos enfants. Si vous aimez la campagne, la tranquillité et les hôtes attentionnés, alors je vous recommande ce logement à 100 %. Un grand merci encore à James et son épouse pour leur hospitalité !

the place is simply amazing... peaceful, clean, well-furnished and well equipped living area, with access and view of the garden... from morning till evening, i still don't know which time is the best, but I will need to come back to help me choosing :) thanks for everything Sue, it was an amazing moment.

Petit bonheur pendant ce séjour au bord de l’eau.. parfait pour passer un moment au calme en pleine nature! Celine est une hôte de qualité, toujours prête à aider, nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Ce gîte, malgré sa petite taille, dispose de tout l'équipement nécessaire. Son atout majeur pour moi est la proximité immédiate d'un cours d'eau permettant de se balader seuls en toute quiétude sur les canaux verdoyants du marais.

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

Pour ce week-end de l’ascension notre groupe d’amis souhaitions trouver un lieu paisible en pleine nature afin de pouvoir déconnecter. Le cottage de Bettina et son conjoint correspondait totalement à ce que nous recherchions. Mis à part le manque d’ustensiles de cuisine nous n’avons rien eu à redire sur la qualité du logement, la piscine était un vrai plus par cette chaleur. Merci à Bettina et son conjoint pour leur accueil et la qualité du logement et du domaine qui était magnifique. En vous souhaitant bonne continuation dans vos projets. Jules.

We had a fantastic stay at Argentonnay. We arrived very late, but that was no problem for check in and Sarah was very responsive to our questions before we arrived. The place was exactly as described and we had a fabulous night’s sleep. The beds were comfy and the place was so quiet and dark. It was also less than 10 minutes drive to the nearest village for fresh bread and pastries in the morning. It is a beautiful place and really well taken care of. The boats look brilliant but unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to use them before we had to leave. Thank you!

Quel endroit incroyable ! Beaucoup d'espace, verdure luxurieuse et parc très bien entretenu. De très beaux bâtiments de pierre, authentique, Un calme idyllique, auprès d'un superbe moulin accompagné d'animaux (oiseaux, chevres, lapins, mouton, cochon d'inde...) et d'activités (kayak, trampoline, pétanque, baby-foot, billard, tennis de table, livres...) . Nous avons passé un séjour superbe, au coeur de la nature. Les propriétaires sont très discret et à l'écoute du moindre besoin, très aimable. Le logement est très bien équipé, spacieux, propre et confortable. Encore merci pour ce fabuleux séjour en famille que nous n'oublierons pas !

We had a fantastic few days in Argentonnay and would higly recommend to anyone. The gite has been done beautifully and is very well equipped, and the grounds are great - we kayaked on the river, walked in the woods and enjoyed making friends with Sarah's pet mini-pigs! It worked very well for our family but would also be hughly suitable for groups without children. Puy de Fou, a 40 min drive away, was a phenomenal experience. Sarah was a very kind and considerate host.
