What can I say... a moment of calm in this little haven of greenery, water and calm. The place is beautiful. a weekend of rest. We loved it. Svitlana is very welcoming and very warm and goes out of her way for her guests. You can go there without a second thought. and we'll be back for sure. We had a great time at Cindy and Guillaume's! Their accommodation is in a great location, just minutes from Puy du Fou, which is perfect for fully enjoying the park without stress. The value for money is really great: the accommodation is very well equipped, tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Special mention for the wellness area with sauna and jacuzzi, a real plus that allowed us to relax after a busy day! Communication with Cindy and Guillaume was smooth from start to finish. They are very responsive and available, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. In summary: quality accommodation, caring hosts, perfect location… We recommend it 1000% and will be happy to come back!

Jane was very helpful and communicative as our host. The house and gardens were beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Loved the pool and hot tub. The immediate setting was green and peaceful with the river at the bottom of the garden. Thouars itself is clearly undergoing improvements to revive the town centre but it has everything you need and there are some good restaurants. The weekly markets had a wonderful selection of local produce and the market hall was open most days. A couple of good bakeries in walking distance from the house. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We easily found the house which is 10-15 meters from the "Sèvre". There are many fishing spots. The house is welcoming and simple. We were there with two families and each had room. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (for a rental) which is very nice for anyone who wants to cook all the shells and other local fish that can be found nearby. It is well located to visit the must-sees of the region such as I'île Ré, the city of La Rochelle or the marshes of Poitevin, which was nice because we did not want to go too many kilometers during our holidays. The owner was very responsive and understanding to all our small requests.

We had a pleasant stay at Nathalie and Jean François's. Very peaceful. The direct access to the canals is very appreciable, the provision of a boat and kayaks allowed us to discover the marshes and see magnificent landscapes, animals, birds... Our hosts' information was very helpful in discovering this green Venice. We had a great time and plan to come back soon. A little advice to cyclists: take a gravel or mountain bike instead to discover all these beautiful paths.

Great place next to a small lake. extremely relaxing and quiet. Not a single mosquito, no noise. Alan is a very friendly and responsive host. Great place to stay!

Everything is designed for hosts to stay without worrying about details such as salt or sugar and the charming fully equipped kitchen is functional. Board games are available for a fun evening with family and/or friends. A large fully equipped garden allows you to relax and enjoy convivial moments. Thanks to our host.

Our family stay went very well. It's a great spot to enjoy Puy du Fou by arriving on the right side to avoid a lot of traffic jams. The Sèvre Nantaise which flows at the foot of the house must be lovely in the summer.

A little in love with this stone cottage with exposed beams, large green space and river view. Quiet in the countryside but still very well located with a grocery store, a tobacco store, a small bar, right next door on the square, which is still very convenient. The exchanges with Anne were very pleasant, Anne was responsive and accommodating on departure and arrival times. We had a lovely weekend with friends and would recommend this cottage 100%.
