Vacation rentals with a kayak in Deux-Sèvres

Very good stay. The accommodation is comfortable and very well-equipped. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet, which is very nice. The welcome is simple and warm. The proximity of the pier to rent boats and bikes makes the activities offered in the sea easy. We recommend the cottage without hesitation.

Jane was very helpful and communicative as our host. The house and gardens were beautiful, spacious and well appointed. Loved the pool and hot tub. The immediate setting was green and peaceful with the river at the bottom of the garden. Thouars itself is clearly undergoing improvements to revive the town centre but it has everything you need and there are some good restaurants. The weekly markets had a wonderful selection of local produce and the market hall was open most days. A couple of good bakeries in walking distance from the house. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Well located accommodation with a terrace that directly overlooks the Sèvre (with very clear water that allows you to see the fish pass), very nice in the morning during breakfast or in the evening for dinner and end the day. Several activities nearby (boat, paddleboard, etc...), shaded picnic areas and trails for walking afterwards. Pauline is very welcoming and was very responsive to resolve the small issue we had identified. A good stay to end the holidays.

We had a pleasant stay at Nathalie and Jean François's. Very peaceful. The direct access to the canals is very appreciable, the provision of a boat and kayaks allowed us to discover the marshes and see magnificent landscapes, animals, birds... Our hosts' information was very helpful in discovering this green Venice. We had a great time and plan to come back soon. A little advice to cyclists: take a gravel or mountain bike instead to discover all these beautiful paths.

Very pleasant, relaxing and very natural atypical accommodation. We wanted to recharge and it was totally the case. James and Sylvie were admirable and attentive to us. We were able to chat for a long time and in a friendly manner!! If you want a pure moment of happiness, go there without hesitation.

the place is simply amazing... peaceful, clean, well-furnished and well equipped living area, with access and view of the garden... from morning till evening, i still don't know which time is the best, but I will need to come back to help me choosing :) thanks for everything Sue, it was an amazing moment.

Extended romantic weekend, we really enjoyed the location and will be happy to come back with the kids.

From the initial warm welcome which showed us the facilities and grounds we could explore we were made to feel very comfortable to relax and enjoy our holiday. The property is perfectly set up for families, the children had so much they could do to entertain themselves from swimming in the pool, basketball, ping pong and checking for eggs from the chickens! On top of this the beautiful grounds gave further walks around the lake topped off with kayaks and paddle boards there was so much to do a week was not long enough! A fantastic property and lovely hosts.

I often do these kinds of stays, but I've never encountered a place where I feel at home to this extent. It was an incredible experience. I recommend that you also visit the Parc de Maulévrier very close to the Moulin (20 min drive). I look forward to returning to reconnect with this peaceful and rejuvenating place :)

Our brief stay at this cottage was perfect for our group of 7. The property is immaculate and the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were in touch in advance of our trip to help with room layout preferences and did a great job showing us around the beautiful property. I only wish we had some time to enjoy boating on the lake or exploring more of the grounds. Would absolutely stay again.

Spacious and tidy gite. The large shared garden and barn are the greatest added values of this location. Various activities are available in this garden: canoe, trampoline, badminton, petanque, some farm animals. In the barn, 8ball pool, ping pong, table football and children's toys are available. Owners Simon and Sara are friendly and helpful but remain discreet. Highly recommended, but car is recommended because of very quiet but therefore also remote location.
