Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Deux-Sèvres

Atypical building with lots of charm and character, a huge fireplace in a garden in bloom, the place is perfect if you want to meet friends and enjoy being together. Paula was full of nice intention, bubbly and very funny, I can only recommend for an authentic and rural weekend!

Everything is impeccable. From Helen's welcome to departure. The place lacks heating when it's a little cold like this week but Helen makes an extra heater available from the beginning of the rental. In addition, there is the possibility of making a fireplace if needed! The onsite amenities are great. It's just missing a few glasses and mugs if there's a handy dishwasher. In addition, Helen provides dishwasher tablets, dish soap, tea towels, sponge, breakfast (chocolate bread and baguette) for the first breakfast! And a bottle of local rosé! 😎

We rented La Longère Rose for 3 nights with a group of friends, including 5 families and numerous children, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The 3 separate gîtes made it easy to accommodate families with younger kids who needed quieter spaces, while we used the larger gîte with its spacious dining room, cozy salon, and well-equipped kitchen as a central gathering point to cook, share meals, and play board games. The kids had a blast on the trampoline, and the adults thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi. Our host, Sarah, was incredibly kind and responsive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. We came from all around France and couldn’t have asked for a better setting for a wonderful weekend. Highly recommended!

anna and ians gites are a rare find , both private , peaceful and yet close to bars , restaurants and shops. We loved the gite we stayed in which was tastefully decorated and furnished perfectly suiting the age of the building but with modern appliances. Anna and ian are the perfect hosts, being very approachable and extremely helpful, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this little gem !!

We had a great time (too short!) at Christelle and Jean Michel's. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the place and the sympathy of our hosts. The studio is very cosi, very clean and functional . The outdoor environment is so peaceful, exotic and relaxing. Everything is done to make guests feel at ease. The visit of the beautiful garden, the shared knowledge about the properties of the plants by Christelle (thank you for taking care of me with this magical herbal tea), the boat trip commented by our boatman-in-chief JeanMi, a real historian and storyteller of the Marais, the provision of bicycles, canoeing... We could write them again and again but we leave you the surprise to discover! Thank you both so much and see you soon; without a doubt, we will be back!

Spacious, rustic but a little dusty, well-equipped accommodation for a family stay of 9 people in the countryside. The location is pleasant, quiet, about 15 minutes from Niort and 20-30 minutes from the Poitevin marshes. Hiking trails nearby: horses, sheep, cows, frogs... total change of scenery. Xavier is a friendly and responsive host.

We felt comfortable right away. The quiet environment, the exceptional location near the church with the beautiful inner courtyard and the large garden give a lot of charm to the accommodation. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired and the tasteful decor as well as the beautiful paintings bring a very warm atmosphere to the house. We'll be happy to go back. We felt right at home.
