This is an amazing stay the hostess was incredible not only did she stay awake to help us she made fresh bread, chocolate chip cookies, yogurt, and jams all from scratch she also provided 6 eggs the cabin itself is beautiful when the night is clear you have an amazing view of the stars 10/10 recommend we will definitely stay here again a perfect little get away Thank you

Perfect home base for our 3 night stay in Monte Vista. We hiked in the area (Deadman's Loop was a great trail-almost 5 miles), visited the Great Dunes Park, and Zapata Falls. We utilized the kitchen to prepare meals, enjoyed the nice hot shower, and had good night rest in their comfortable bed. Had everything we needed. We will stay here again when returning to this area.

Great location, easy to find and close to anything you'd need. Cabin was clean, warm, and inviting. Attic bedroom has less headroom than expected based on the photos, and is somewhat difficult to access for older people or anyone with mobility challenges, so just bear this in mind. But overall really great, especially if you don't need the upper/attic room.

I have nothing but good things to say for this house and Nick the host. The house was very nice, felt right at home. Comfortable couches, comfortable beds, great bathroom for multiple people staying there, and the backyard is great for dogs. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, grocery store is 2 min away. On top of all that Nick is great, he was very responsive, checkin on us during our long stay, and helpful when I had questions. He is one of the best host Ive ever had. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended.
