Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. This place was an amazing stay. I was traveling with 6 of my college friends and slept perfectly comfortable on couches and doubles in bedrooms. The property is amazing, clean, great views, and perfectly private for us. Make sure you keep your eyes and ears out for howler monkeys, toads, tortoises and lots of tropical birds. This place is perfect for visiting several beaches, it has a strategic location. It is a bright and very well decorated place, the house is just as in the photos, the pool area is beautiful and the night lights help to make the atmosphere relaxing and enjoyable during the stay. The accommodation is private, safe and quiet. Highly recommended, I hope to be back. Thank you!

Exactly as we expected for a quiet get away in a beautiful location.

This place was super relaxing and felt like you were in the forrest. The pool was super cool. You do share it with three other airbnbs I believe. The laundry was nice, and the AC worked really well. Overall enjoyed my stay.

The place was perfect for our situation. We had a flight that was supposed to go to SJO and instead ended in Liberia, which resulted in us staying overnight. So we decided to have a few days in a beach town and stayed here. It was the perfect way to make lemonade out of lemons.

Clean and great place to chill out

We stayed at Jeffrey's apartment and loved the place, the facilities and the equipment of the place, there is a small grill to use, a truly luxurious pool inside the apartment, I really liked the fish tank! A little far from the city but ideal for immersing yourself in nature, Jeffrey was very friendly and approachable with some of his own requests! Excellent service and we would like to come back soon! We loved it.

Caroline is such a super cool and sweet host and Pasito is a super amazing place to stay at. Centrale to everything and perfect to chill.

We had a wonderful week in CR! One of our best vacations! The location of the condo unit was perfect - next to the nicest pool. It felt like a small neighbourhood community where everyone’s friendly, sociable and shares information. Outside the porch is a huge nance fruit tree that dropped fruits that look like golden berries but have a weird taste. The complex staff come by regularly to pick them up and eat them, and it also attracted iguanas so we got to see a few big ones up close. They’re cautious around people so they don’t come too close. The sound of all the different bird calls in the early morning was incredible. Sometimes you can hear monkeys in the distance during the night. The highlight of our trip was the sunset catamaran snorkelling booze cruise. We would have gone twice if time permitted. We’ll have to come back since in a week we didn’t get to do everything we wanted to. The owners and their local guy Luis are amazing!

If you are looking for a unique Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. The house backs up to a rainforest, where you will enjoy indoor/outdoor living, encounter Howler monkeys swinging from the trees, birds chirping, the sound of rain falling against the leaves. And yes there were a few critters, but that was to be expected, especially since we visiting during the beginning of the rainy season. The beds are cozy and the house is less than 10 minutes from town, the beach, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and made great recommendations. Our experience was definitely memorable.

This place is BEAUTIFUL!! My family enjoyed A LOT this hidden gem! The pictures just don’t do justice! The peace you feel in this place is just unmeasurable. If you’re considering this place, just book it! Don’t think twice! I ended up regretting not booking more days here! Don’t be like me! Now, you DO need a 4x4!! Don’t risk it! Thanks a lot! We will definitely be back!

Great spot, private and was nice having two floors compared to our other stays in CR. Pool steps out of the back door and on a nice quiet street.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

This was the perfect place to stay on our surf trip. Everyone had their privacy and could hang out together downstairs in the living room or at the pool. its close proximity to surfing and access to great restaurants, for the value is excellent.

We had a lovely time. Listen to the birds in the morning while drinking coffee on the terrace, it was wonderful. But it's true that at night, it's quite noisy with trucks passing by not far away. It's 30 minutes to the beach so it's great. The garden was really very beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

What a delightful experience! Excellent hospitality and just what we were looking for.

A 5 minute walk to the beach. 15 minute walk to the main road BUT you can uber from the airbnb to the main road/restaurants for literally only $3.95 each ride. Its a little difficult for people to find exactly (ubers and taxis) but its manageable for sure. AC was POWERFUL and we did not go a single night hot. Backyard was very spacious. Everything was clean. A lot of extra amenities like sunscreen, lotion, books, even Uno cards to play with. It felt very secure because it was gated both in the front and in the back. There was no door on the bathroom but my husband and I personally did not mind that. Water pressure is decent in the shower but nothing to complain about; every other faucet had strong water pressure. Quiet street and the most you’ll hear are the dogs at night. The airbnb was literally down the street from a couple of restaurants and a couple blocks away from a traditional Soda. Good overall experience, i would book a second time. Thank you!
