Wow!!!! Great stay at AirBnb in Octocal Beach. We visited Costa Rica for our daughter’s nuptials and indeed our stay at this AirBnb was an unforgettable experience. It was an upscale home away from home. The service was excellent! The atmosphere soothing yet vibrant, calm, and relaxing. The rooms were clean, spacious with stunning views. The amenities were top notch and every needed for a home away from home was readily available in the home. We loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the view was amazing. The home was exactly as pictured. Only thing we would’ve done differently is booked a 4x4 rental car instead of using uber as it was hard for us to get a driver to get us around the area due to it being fairly new and in the mountains. Besides that, this was definitely a 10/10 stay and I would recommend it for sure!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Camille's home. The house is absolutely beautiful along with the back yard being picture perfect. It is just as beautiful as the photos. We had a few minor issues with the sink but Camille and her mom Nik were extremely helpful and very prompt with responses, making sure to take care of everything immediately. Renting a golf cart was a game-changer for us, we had a great time on it versus taking the car everywhere. Lots of restaurants and beaches nearby. We hope to be back one day!! The rental unit was exactly as we expected from the listing. In particular, a covered area on the roof deck was perfect for watching the sunset. A few comments from other guests had given me the impression that it might be necessary to drive to get to local shops or restaurants. Although we had a car, we found that almost nothing in town was more than a 10-15 minute walk away. (That said, a car was best for a trip to the grocery store.) Jennifer and Brian were both very helpful and responsive, not only in addressing a couple minor questions about the rental, but also in giving some advice about the area. All in all, a very nice stay!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect for exploring the area, the house is stylish and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

Theresa and Darren were amazing hosts! our flight arrived at 6 am and we were at the house by 12. Theresa said that because they didn't have anyone checking out we could check in early which was amazing. we had a little difficulty finding the house but that was our fault and when I messaged Theresa she answer right away with a pin allowing us to find the house instantly! Throughout the stay Theresa and Darren were very thoughtful, responsive, proactive and helpful! Anything we needed they either offered for us to barrow theirs, told us where to buy it or bought one themselves for the house. Lastly, when our other Airbnb cancelled on us last minute they agreed without any hesitation to have us stay one more night. the location was fantastic, the beach was a 5 minute walk as described as well as downtown. The pool was a great bonus as well as the AC. Would definitely recommend and will without a doubt be going back! thank you for everything!

When we booked the place we knew the location was where we wanted to be. However, the house far surpassed the photos. Absolutely stunning views, pool views and well appointed accommodations. We absolutely loved it! We will be back!!

The best AirBnB ever! I was sad to leave this incredible home away from home. It has everything you need. Usually, rentals lack the right utensils, enough plates, etc… NOT THIS PLACE! This had everything and all the nice extras. I highly recommend this home for an incredible vacation experience. We were able to enjoy all that Playa Grande has to offer plus some other wonderful excursions that were short drives away. AMAZING! Ready to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Casa La Jolla! Located in a quiet, gated community about 20 minutes from Tamarindo, it was the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to town. The house was spotless, super comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. Jeff was a fantastic host—his communication was excellent, and he checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Any time we had a question or request, he responded right away. We highly recommend Casa La Jolla and would absolutely stay here again!

What a gem. To see that view when you walk in the door is amazing. It’s a beautiful house with everything you may need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the pool is exactly like the pictures with warm water and bar stools to gaze out over that stunning view. The AC & fans do a great job of keeping you cool as a retreat from outside. We also loved the use of the beach chairs, towels and beach toys for the whole family. Our 3 small children loved it! We will be back!

This place was very nice. The location was very close to the beach - walkable - and to downtown Coco. The pool was also refreshing after a day at the beach! The property seems well managed and taken care of - making for a comfortable and stress free stay.

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

Casa Prana was absolute paradise. We just got back from an amazing trip to Costa Rica, and this house made the entire experience next-level. From the moment we arrived, everything was flawless—luxury at every turn. The beds and linens were unbelievably comfortable, the outdoor space and pool area were to die for, and the coffee setup was unreal—perfect for those early mornings before surfing or fishing. The house had everything we needed and more. It felt like every detail was carefully thought out, making it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy every second. If you’re headed to Costa Rica and want to do it right, Casa Prana is it!

My family of four recently stayed in this fantastic home in Nuevo Colon, and I cannot say enough great things about it. From its prime location to the unforgettable experiences it offers, this home is undoubtedly the best option for your travel to Costa Rica. As a Bonvoy Ambassador Elite member, I had the option of staying at any Marriott property, but we chose this house to truly experience Costa Rica beyond the confines of a hotel complex. We also went to visit The Westin Reserva Conchal, (hot tip, you can get a day pass for $135/adult and $65/child), and after being there for half of the day, it only further confirmed we made the right choice. The hosts were also excellent - very responsive and helpful with recommendations for activities, restaurants, and grocery stores. Thanks to their help, we explored local communities, beaches, and jungles, making it one of the best family vacations we've ever had. Diamonte, Monkey Farm and tubing the Rio Celeste were our highlights!

What an incredible place. It’s a few minutes outside Tamarindo and Playa Flamingo and worth the drive. The place has insane views and is so unique. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. 11/10.

A very comfortable, quiet, technological and clean place, a perfect place for a family

Overall a great stay! The bathrooms had a bit of a sewage smell and the house was not particularly well-equipped in terms of supplies, but otherwise all was good. The house is in excellent condition and has a really unique design. We had a fantastic time and the proximity to the beach is great.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Stephen was a most helpful host and assisted us in making all of our plans for a short but fantastic visit to Costa Rica. The house is just as advertised, clean and spacious. The views are out of this world and the access to amenities on the resort are perfect. Quick trip to local beaches and restaurants and we even had time to prepare a few meals in the kitchen. We followed all of Stephen’s advice including a half-day snorkeling trip with Juan Carlos which was a home run! I literally cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Stephen and his beautiful home. I just followed the playbook he provided during our pre-visit telephone call and everything worked out beautifully. Playa Hermosa’s beach is breathtaking and Stephen made all the right restaurant recommendations! I was looking for a simple and fun trip for my family of five and thanks to Stephen my plan came to fruition. So relaxing!

This stay was amazing! The home became our haven during our stay in Costa Rica. We were able to see so much of Costa Rica without driving too far. Bring only 10 minutes from Playa Negra was so fun. When we were home we basically lived in the pool, overall an incredible experience at this home.

Very clean and cozy spot

If you are looking for a unique Costa Rican experience, this is the place for you. The house backs up to a rainforest, where you will enjoy indoor/outdoor living, encounter Howler monkeys swinging from the trees, birds chirping, the sound of rain falling against the leaves. And yes there were a few critters, but that was to be expected, especially since we visiting during the beginning of the rainy season. The beds are cozy and the house is less than 10 minutes from town, the beach, restaurants and shopping. David was responsive and made great recommendations. Our experience was definitely memorable.

Absolutely beautiful and stunning place! We loved having beach access right outside. Hearing the waves at night right outside our windows. Flor was so attentive and her food was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend ordering from her menu if you want amazing Costa Rican food. This was such a beautiful, unique stay.
