Cottage on the New is a vacation home in Todd, NC with the New River running right in the front yard! ***NOTE: our private shared bridge sustained damage from Hurricane Helene and we are still waiting for it to be replaced. It looks bad, but is still usable. *** The outdoors is your playground with skiing, biking, tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing at your fingertips. Hurricane Helene Update: We are incredibly fortunate that our property did not suffer damage from the storm and the main roads to and from our home are accessible. Internet and power have been restored, and our property is ready to offer a lovely refuge for anyone needing a temporary place to stay. The cabin is surrounded by forest with a main deck and an upper deck. Just recently remodeled and redecorated, we designed Sleeping Bear to be the perfect place for anyone to enjoy the mountain life. Fishing, walking, biking, hiking, tubing, kayaking, bird, butterfly, wildlife watchers and 35 -45 minutes to skiing.
