Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Deep Creek Lake

Can’t say enough good things about this place! My family and I had the best time. Gorgeous and clean home with extra amenities and goodies in the kitchen. The fire pit outside is wonderful. Though it was a cold Memorial Day Weekend, we made the best of it enjoying the comfy home and watching a movie. Someone in the guest book talked about counting the bears in the house.. they got 151, we got 163! Between the adults it was a funny game to compete who could get the most! Thank you Greg and Denise for a wonderful stay!

The whole process was seamless. Great communication between us and the host, check-in was a breeze and it was exactly as advertised. Would stay here again.

We had a great stay with Bubo and is actually the 2nd time we have stayed with her at this location. Very comfortable, clean, convenient location, great kitchen, fireplace and hot tub. We will return.

My family and I enjoyed staying at Andrew’s. The home was as described. Comfortably accommodated my large family and I PLUS our pets. Really enjoyed the hot tub and board games in the basement. The arcade was a BIG plus. Beautiful home. Would stay again and highly recommend.

We had to make an unexpected trip and were very fortunate to find this great place with only a one day notice. We had an issue with a room heater but Lisa responded to our message very quickly. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and everything we could have wanted in the kitchen. We were there before the season so didn't take part in any of the lake activities, but it is a beautiful part of the country and was very convenient for visits to Oakland, Grantsville and other places where our family members live. We have stayed at several other Airbnb locations in the area and this is the best!

The house was beautiful and in a wonderful setting! We felt right at home as soon as we walked in! Having 3 suites was perfect for our family. It was a nice walk to the docks and being able to use the kayaks made it so convenient!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! The lake views from the house were absolutely beautiful, and the location was perfect – just a short walk to the lake. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, which made it so convenient for our group. The house was incredibly well stocked with everything we could possibly need – and even more! Nina, the owner, was proactive and responsive, providing clear instructions and ensuring we had a smooth stay. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

Amazing place, great host

We had a great stay in Friendsville! The place was exactly as described. Super clean and so comfortable. Our hosts were helpful with things we forgot and also very welcoming and friendly. Wanda takes great care in making sure all the comforts of home are provided.

It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

Joyce’s place exceeded my expectations. A beautiful, fully equipped and cozy space with idyllic views of the landscape from her property. You could tell the place was meticulously cleaned and much love and care put into the design both in the home and on their land. She has gone above and beyond to make guests welcome and I immediately felt at home. I also enjoyed walking around and observing the deer and birds after a long drive. I will definitely be back next time I need a stay in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at the Yoder School House. It was so peaceful and relaxing, especially the hot tub with a lovely view of the farmland and watching all the birds at the feeder and in the field over coffee in the mornings. The house had everything we could need - Rhoda is very thoughtful in stocking the kitchen and even leaving fun board games. We loved the proximity to the Casselman Creamery, and it was a great location for day trips to hike Mount Davis and explore Ohiopyle State Park in PA. WE would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

One of the best hosts I’ve dealt with. She is quick with responding with any questions you may have and gives you plenty of recommendations around the area. She asks you how the stay is throughout the dates you are there. Overall a great host and the property is beautiful.

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

FANTASTIC! The only comment would be that the air circulation is very weak. it would be nice to have drying racks out other ways to dry wet, cold clothing after a day of skiing.

Cozy lodge. Our unit was lovely. We did have one issue, but the beauty of the unit being in a hotel-like lodge was the front desk staff was right there to handle it. Would absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Silver Tree Suites! Our favorite part was the ability to rent a movie and watch by the fireplace. Felt very cozy and we would definitely stay here again.

I had a very nice stay during my time here. It looked just as described and was perfect for a peaceful weekend. I would stay here again in the future.

We were very pleased with this condo and the hosts. The appliances, dishes, cookware, bedding, towels, decor, furniture and little balcony were all top notch. They even provided snacks, k-cups, and specialty teas for us. The s’more kit was a neat welcome too. There were even high end shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided for us. An added bonus was that the condo was on ground level ~no stairs~! This made access easy for our littles. It was perfect for our little family. We had an issue with the fob for the pool gate and they were quick to resolve the issue. We spent a lot of time out on the balcony. The chairs were super comfy and they even provided a candle that added to the ambience of being outside. This is the best Airbnb I have stayed at. The hosts get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will definitely book with them again in the future and highly recommend Jason and Sarah and their beautiful little condo.
