We felt very comfortable and had a very nice few days in Sandy's house. The children loved the playground and the football field right outside the door. In particular, families I can recommend the house. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was lovely and in a very central location. It was quiet and private which we liked. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom’s heated floors were amazing. We had a lovely time.

This bungalow is in a beautiful environment. It is tastefully decorated and the appliances, cutlery and utensils are excellent! Communication with Jurgen was very smooth too. Great place to stay for visiting Keukenhof and Amsterdam as well as the northern beaches. The kids loved the garden!

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

Wonderfull house. Supermarkets close by (5 minutes by car). Well equipped kitchen great living room and bedrooms. We used the sunny terrace a lot for breakfast and dinner. We would definitely rent the house again.

We really enjoyed our vacation in Ella's house - it is very cozy and has everything you need. It was also nice and warm and you can also feel very comfortable there in the rain. The location is great; you can get to Alkmaar or the beautiful mountains or the sea very quickly. Communication with Ella went very well. We'll be back for sure. Many thanks!

We had a good time in the apartment: communication went very smoothly and we could enter the apartment with a key box. The apartment was very clean, there was a bag of chocolates for us, tasty! It was also very quiet there. The Koog is easily reached within walking distance. We took a very nice walk through the nature reserve to the beach to eat something in the beach pavilion pole 18. It was very quiet in the apartment, and we slept well in the good beds. In the morning we could enjoy a radiant sun on the terrace! We will definitely come back!

Maaike and Jeroen were lovely hosts, making us feel welcome in their historic monument home. With 40 chickens, two rabbits, one cat, and one dog, we felt like we were one with nature. We had a safe place in the barn for our bicycles, and there was everything we could ask for to cook nice meals. Fresh flowers on the table and treats in the cupboards, we felt really spoiled. The bed was the biggest we‘ve seen in a long time, and it was extremely comfortable. There were giant tulip fields to the left and right of the house. The sunsets were glorious and make for taking endless photographs.

We had a very nice stay and it was equipped with all the comforts. Perfect location and everything within walking distance so you can sit on the terrace or shop in no time. We were kindly welcomed by Diwa and gave a good tour and some tips. If there were any questions, they responded quickly and clearly. Highly recommended and would love to come back! Great b&b. Unfortunately without breakfast but that was already told to us right away, so no problem. Super quiet location and very close to the West Frieze Golf Course. Super clean and a good bed. The terrace with a wonderful view was also recommended. If you are looking for a quiet place where you can easily stay overnight: FOUND

Perfect location in the heart of Alkmaar. The place had everything we needed for a 3 day stay. Sylvia was an excellent host who was always responsive.

Inge is an attentive and friendly hostess. Even though she couldn't greet us in person, her representative was just as friendly and accommodating. The apartment was clean, well equipped and was very good for our trips to the beach. We felt very comfortable from the first minute. We found a guest book with tips on restaurants and destinations from other guests to be a very good idea. We'd love to come back if we find ourselves in this part of the Netherlands again. We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and felt very comfortable in the accommodation! Everything is within walking distance and also the beach is only a few minutes away by car. Communication was super easy and totally friendly. We highly recommend the Klaver garage and would be happy to come back! :)

Anjas, apartment is conveniently located in the middle (seasonal🙃) of beautiful tulip fields. The beach is only a short drive by car - but also very easy to reach on foot or by bike. For us, the apartment was a very good location to explore the surrounding area and take long walks on the beach. The beach pavilions on the beach are top class. Friendly - accommodating - fairly priced! (We know different ones on the DE side of the North Sea😉. All in all: we'll be back All the best Esther and Oliver

What a gem this lovely home is in Alkmaar - a gorgeous city to spend two weeks in and explore the Netherlands from. Pasqual was responsive, kind and attentive, and the apartment was absolutely lovely - clean, in a great location just outside of the Old Town and literally minutes from the train station. We ate in almost every night and had a fantastic set-up to do so, including the best oven ever and gas stove. Truly a wonderful experience. I can’t say enough positive things about this wondrous space and the people that host it! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay in Alkmaar and in the apartment! The communication with Diwa was great, she welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information, we could always contact her and she was super friendly. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. It has a beautiful balcony and a great view. We loved, that it’s located in the middle of the city with nice cafés around the corner. For parking there are good options that Diwa told us about. We totally recommend staying in Diwas apartment and would love to come back!

The apartment is super cozy and very nicely furnished. There is everything you need. The location is ideal. You can walk to downtown in 5 minutes. Still quiet. Communication with Majsa was great. As a welcome there was a bottle of wine and something to nibble on. It was beautiful all around. We definitely want to come back! Thanks very much.

Akke’s apartment is the perfect location for us as we have a strong appreciation for historic architecture. We felt very comfortable staying there, and found Akke to be very helpful. She was always around when needed, but never seen otherwise. It was like it was our apartment.

We had a lovely stay! Beautiful apartment, nicely decorated and very spacious. Located in a nice and quiet location, within walking distance of downtown. The area is fantastic for cycling, also Bergen aan Zee is easy to reach within 15 minutes by bike. Bikes can be rented in Bergen city center. Olga was also a very nice hostess, clear communication before and during the stay, everything was pico bello in order. Highly recommended and we'd love to come back!
