Beautiful house with everything you need if you want to stay in this beautiful area. Hostess is friendly and always available (if needed). Furthermore, you have peace and privacy. In the morning you will be surprised with a great extensive breakfast. Couldn't be better.

Fred and Helga’s place is absolutely adorable as is the town of Vollenhove! The house exudes total charm and comfort and has all the wonderful quirks one would expect of a place that is 350 years old, and Helga was very welcoming! We enjoyed leaving the skylight open upstairs at night for cool air while sleeping and lovely sounds of morning birds. The village is easily walkable, with two bakeries, a green grocer, butcher, etc. within a block of the house. The nearby natural areas are stunning and we saw the most amazing sunsets there. Took bikes to Giethoorn for the day which was wonderful exercise but not too much for an active family. I also really enjoyed the record player and stellar selection of LPs! A perfect break from the travelers routine of hotels and restaurants.

The place is very nice and clean which impressed me very much, kindness and communication with Fokelien, she is always available, helpful, I would recommend anyone to get to know her and stay with her, she is a fine lady who takes care of her guests, thank you Fokelien.

Janneke is nice, helpful and interested! Exactly appropriate! Everything is perfectly fine, clean, tidy and a great bed! In consultation, I showered at night, which was also no problem for Janneke (I had a party close by, with dressing and green hair, hence the desire to shower). Janneke is super understanding and that made me feel very much at home. Janneke is a super host! :)

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. We were hosted very well by Bianca, she is a charming host, caring while remaining discreet. She showed us her farm, told us about her business and introduced us to her animals (ducks, horses, sheep, dog, cat, alpacas, we were able to pet one), she kindly answered all our questions about them, it was interesting. The accommodation matched the photos and descriptions well, cozy, clean, spacious, the bed was very large and comfortable, with a nice duvet cover filled with alpaca wool, we slept very well! The place is peaceful, quiet at night. The tasty breakfast, prepared with love and kindness (we were two people without gluten and she brought us a basket containing several kinds of fresh and exquisite gluten-free rolls), offered a lot of homemade products, it was hearty and delicious! We enjoyed ourselves! Bianca is really an exceptional host, everything was perfect at her place!

Small but super cozy and functionally furnished room overlooking unspoiled nature. Location right behind the dike in a former village church. In the morning, a delicious breakfast awaited us in the landlord's living room. We will be happy to come back.

At Sonja's place, we were guests for the second time and felt at home again immediately. Sonja is a wonderful and warm host. You can also tell from the wonderful breakfast that she prepares every day full of love and varied. Definitely recommend. We are already looking forward to our next stay with Sonja.

Nico and Ella house was great! The room was big, the bed was good, and the bathroom was spacious with everything needed. They also served absolutely amazing breakfast, and were very friendly people. I would recommend the place very much! My stay was simply great.
