Rosetta was a super host. Very friendly and accommodating. If your there on a Friday, do order the pizza. Both the pizza and breakfast were delicious. The place was a perfect mix. Close enough to bike there but far enough to enjoy the peaceful area and listening to the birds.

Fijn verblijf gehad nabij centrum leeuwarden!

Mooi huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt als je in deze mooie omgeving wil verblijven. Gastvrouw is vriendelijk en altijd beschikbaar (indien nodig). Verder heb je rust en privacy. In de ochtend wordt je verrast met een geweldig uitgebreid ontbijt. Kan niet beter.

Fred and Helga’s place is absolutely adorable as is the town of Vollenhove! The house exudes total charm and comfort and has all the wonderful quirks one would expect of a place that is 350 years old, and Helga was very welcoming! We enjoyed leaving the skylight open upstairs at night for cool air while sleeping and lovely sounds of morning birds. The village is easily walkable, with two bakeries, a green grocer, butcher, etc. within a block of the house. The nearby natural areas are stunning and we saw the most amazing sunsets there. Took bikes to Giethoorn for the day which was wonderful exercise but not too much for an active family. I also really enjoyed the record player and stellar selection of LPs! A perfect break from the travelers routine of hotels and restaurants.

Der Unterkunft ist sehr schön und sauber, was mich sehr beeindruckt hat, Freundlichkeit und Kommunikation mit Fokelien, sie ist jederzeit erreichbar, hilfsbereit, ich würde jeden empfehlen sie kennen zu lernen und bei ihr zu übernachten, sie ist ein feiner Dame die um ihre Gäste kümmert, Danke Fokelien.

Janneke is aardig, behulpzaam en belangstellend! Precies gepast! Alles is piekfijn in orde, schoon, netjes en een geweldig bed! In overleg heb ik in de nacht gedoucht, wat voor Janneke ook geen probleem was (ik had dichtbij een feest, met verkleden en groen haar, vandaar de wens om te douchen). Janneke is super begripvol en daardoor voelde ik me enorm thuis. Janneke is een super host! :)

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt in dem Gästehaus. Alles war sauber die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Gerne wieder.

Our stay in Giethoorn was absolutely perfect! The little inn we chose was cozy, spotless, and everything we could have hoped for. The location was right on the canal, making it incredibly easy to take the boat out and explore the serene waterways. While the area is quieter in winter, that only added to the charm, creating a peaceful and intimate atmosphere. The highlight of our stay was the incredible hospitality. Our host went above and beyond, preparing delicious and varied home-cooked breakfasts each morning. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the clean and well-equipped kitchen (where my girlfriend and I enjoyed cooking dinner each night) to the excellent water pressure and warmth of the shower—something you truly appreciate during colder months. This was more than just a stay; it was an experience. The warmth, cleanliness, and attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We can’t recommend this place enough and look forward to our return!

Wir haben uns bei Sharon und Djurre von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie sind besonders freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeber und sind in jeder Hinsicht hilfsbereit und offen für Fragen. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet und durch eine großzügige Raumgestaltung sehr wohnlich. Jeden Morgen bereitete Sharon ein üppiges und sehr abwechslungreiches Frühstück zu, das wir sehr genossen haben. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr günstig: Man kann viele interessante Orte und touristische Attraktionen von hier aus leicht und schnell erreichen. Kurzum, wir können die Unterkunft jedem herzlich weiter empfehlen. Christa und Hans

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Bianca, c'est une hôte charmante, attentionnée tout en restant discrète. Elle nous a montré sa ferme, nous a parlé de son activité et présenté ses animaux (canards, chevaux, mouton, chien, chat, alpacas, nous avons pu en caresser un), elle répondait gentiment à toutes nos questions les concernant, c'était intéressant. Le logement correspondait bien aux photos et descriptions, cosy, propre, spacieux, le lit était très grand et confortable, doté d'une jolie housse de couette remplie de laine d'alpaca, nous avons très bien dormi! Le lieu est paisible, calme la nuit. Le petit déjeuner savoureux, préparé avec amour et gentillesse (nous étions deux personnes sans gluten et elle nous a apporté une panière contenant plusieurs sortes de petits pains sans gluten frais et exquis), offrait beaucoup de produits faits maison, il était copieux et délicieux! Nous nous sommes régalés! Bianca est vraiment une hôte exceptionnelle, tout a été parfait chez elle!

Kleines aber super gemütliches und zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Blick in die unverbaute Natur. Lage direkt hinterm Deich in einer ehemaligen Dorfkirche. Morgens erwartete uns ein leckeres Frühstück im Wohnzimmer der Vermieter. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bei Sonja waren wir bereits zum zweiten Mal Gäste und haben uns sofort wieder zuhause gefühlt. Sonja ist eine wunderbare und herzliche Gastgeberin. Das merkt man auch an dem herrlichen Frühstück, dass sie jeden Tag voller Liebe und abwechslungsreich zubereitet. Unbedingt zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unser nächsten Aufenthalt bei Sonja.

Onverwacht veel ruimte door een bijbehorende keuken/ontbijtruimte die niet door anderen in gebruik is. Prima locatie, fietsen kunnen droog staan in de schuur. Prima ontbijt. Mooi dicht bij Franeker. Aanrader dus.

We hebben een heerlijke overnachting gehad voordat wij naar Terschelling zijn vertrokken. De ruimte was schoon en ruim opgezet. Alles was aanwezig voor een lekker ontbijt. Wij komen graag een keertje terug.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Fully recommended for its beautiful rooms, kitchen, breakfast and beautiful cutlery. I will stay again one day ✨️

Huset til Nico og Ella var fantastisk! Rommet var stort, sengen var god, og badet var romslig med alt nødvendig. De serverte også helt fantastisk frokost, og var veldig vennlige mennesker. Jeg vil anbefale stedet på det varmeste! Oppholdet mitt var rett og slett supert.
