Beachfront vacation rentals in Daratsos

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

Absolutely beautiful location, 2 minute walk to the main Old Port area and tons of nice shops in the back streets.

Jeronimo ist ein richtig toller Gastgeber. Sehr, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderschön oberhalb der kleinen Soudabucht mit grandiosem Ausblick. Zwei empfehlenswerte Tavernen sind zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Auch die Bar von Jeronimo ist toll und nicht zu verachten. Wir können die schöne, einfache aber zweckmäßige Unterkunft auf's Wärmste empfehlen.

Sehr gut beim Strand und in Gehentfernung zur Altstadt gelegen. Nahversorgung exzellent. Die Wohnung ist blitzsauber, einfach aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Bett sehr komfortabel. Highlight ist die Terrasse mit Zitronenbaum, in dessen Schatten man gerne einen Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein trinkt. Kommunikation mut Alkis reibungslos, ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Great place directly opposite the beach - fantastic if you have toddlers like us. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door every day because the kids could play out there while we ate. If you want to visit the most beautiful beaches on Crete, this west coast location is great (though it should be noted that the beach near the house is actually facing north, which means it is thankfully not frequented by tourists). The host is very friendly and willing to help with any issues. The airbnb was very well equipped and prepared for our visit (including items we would not ordinarily expect like fruit, cake, and even a dinner on the first night - though we obviously knew about it based on previous reviews). We would come back here in a heartbeat!

The host was very responsive which was greatly appreciated. Quiet neighborhood for sleeping with the windows open. Very walkable to the main port. Loved the balcony!

Nous sommes ravis du séjour c/o Eleni. Elle est attentive aux détails qui font plaisir (petites attentions à l’arrivée, de quoi se préparer un petit déjeuner). Nous avons adoré le coin terrasse sur le toit avec la vue sur la ville et la baie. Nous reviendrons si l’occasion se présente.

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! The house is truly luxurious, in perfect condition, and tastefully designed with great attention to detail. The layout of the rooms is simply brilliant — spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The heated pool was one of our favorite features — always at the perfect temperature to cool down and unwind at any time of the day. The location couldn’t be better: just a few minutes’ walk to the beach, where you’ll find plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops. A very special thank you to our amazing hosts! They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always just a message away. Every little question or request was answered within minutes — we felt truly taken care of from the very first moment. We can highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday on Crete. We would love to come back anytime! Thank you so much, Eleni&Georgios!

Appartement confortable et bien équipé. Parking facile. Pièces spacieuses. Chaque chambre avec SdB/wc. Assez proche de la Canée. Très bon séjour. Pour se rendre à l'appartement, utiliser les coordonnées fournies par l'agence plutôt que l'adresse dans le GPS.

This little villa was the perfect find for us! On a beautiful little cove with a beach across the street, private pool, very quiet and serene—a great hike up to a cave on the adjoining mountain, restaurants and groceries nearby, drivable to many of the islands locales—but even if you only get to nearby Chania, it’s such a charming town and well worth it. Stavros is the most gracious of hosts, very responsive and thoughtful, left us treats, kitchen was well stocked with basics, and he was full of helpful information to make our stay amazing. Wish we’d stayed here longer, honestly!!

We had the best time staying here! The villa is beautiful, everything you need is there and it’s in the perfect location for walking to local restaurants, shops and to the beach. The bus stop to get into Chania is at the end of the road, and the bus comes every 10 minutes and is only a 10 minute journey to the old town! Couldn’t fault a thing about our stay. We will most certainly be back, thank you so much!

Huvila vastasi tarpeittamme hyvin. Meitä oli huvilassa 8 aikuista, 2 lasta ja 2 pikkulasta. Makuuhuoneet, kylpyhuoneet ja keittiö olivat erittäin siistit tullessamme. Pyyhkeitä, peittoja ja tyynyjä oli riittävästi kaikille tarpeisiin. Uima-altaan vesi oli ihanan virkistävää ja lapset viihtyivät hyvin. Taaperon kanssa matkustaessa portaat olivat hieman huolta aiheuttavat, kun ei vielä niitä ymmärrä käyttää oikein. Pääasiassa erittäin viihtyisä huvila, Nikos (omistaja) huolehti kaikesta tarpeellisesta ja oli jääkaappiin hommannut tarjolle myös paikallisia ruokia tullessamme. Voin suositella!

we had a lovely stay with nina and rebecca—and wish it had been longer. after staying in santorini two years ago and falling in love with greece, we wanted to try another island. we’re so glad we found this gem of an airbnb. steps from the beach, the pool, our own private hot tub, a strollable little beach town, and the resort’s restaurant and bar. dinner the first night was delish and the staff was so friendly, we made a habit of coming back throughout our stay. giorgios was a star ✨ cute cat friends. sweet resident dog. we hope to return.

Highly recommend staying at Simos's place! Very well-maintained, short walk away from many shops and restaurants, and the view of the water from the balcony is spectacular. Very much enjoyed our time there!

Lovely place in Chania. The view of the lighthouse from the dining table never gets old no matter what time of day. The completely open-concept space is a little bit too open at times. My friends and I found it somewhat difficult to get privacy for changing/dressing etc. The bathroom was also not in a super convenient location and would occasionally not get hot water at all. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, it is in a very central/busy location with shops and restaurants abound. Be warned: the store directly below does not shut off their music until 23:00 and is very audible through the floor. Maria was also a great host and responded quickly to any ask! Kitchen, beds and other amenities were just right, would recommend!

A great location right near the beach with clear views of an incredible sunset. The balcony was our favorite part but the location was great, with restaurants within seconds and the old port within a nice 15min walk along the water. Perfect. Katerina and George were amazing, easy communication and both went above and beyong welcoming us to Chania. Would highly recommend staying here if youre visiting Chania.

Un petit cocon avec une vue magnifique, très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La terrasse est un plus avec sa banquette, et le coin repas sans vis à vis. Commerce et plage à 10mn seulement à pieds. Nous remercions Fanis pour son sourire et les petites attentions (café, thé, eau, produits de toilettes..) Tout était parfait😊

Karolina und Jadwiga sind sehr angenehme Hosts und die Kommunikation zwischen uns war immer sehr schnell und hilfreich. Der Check-In funktioniert einwandfrei. Bei uns hat Google Maps jedoch das Nachbarsgebäude angezeigt. Jedoch ist die Unterkunft aussen angeschrieben und entsprechend findet man sie so. Die Unterkunft an sich ist exzellent: Moderne Küche und Bäder, schöne Zimmer. Und der Aussenbereich mit Liegen, Sonnenschirme, Tische, Stühle, Grillstellen und Strand ist phänomenal! Das einzige, das ein bisschen störend ist: Man ist direkt an der Haupstrasse und im Haus selber hört man diesen Lärm doch noch gut.

Kladissos apartment is a great little retreat, perfect location away from the more crowded areas of Chania, it's only a short walk to the quiet beach and only a short stroll to the old town, lighthouse and bus station. The apartment was perfect, clean, secure and fitted out with everything you need for your stay in Chania, it also boasts a well maintained garden patio area full of colour. The family were very welcoming, kind and perfect hosts for our stay in Chania, our only issue was we only stayed for 1 week but if we ever return to Chania, Kladissos will be the first place we will look to book with again. We stayed at Irina’s for our honeymoon! We originally booked her other listing but she offered this listing as a gift to us for our honeymoon - this alone shows how kind irina is ! Her home is beautiful, clean, and unique. We met Irina for check in and she was so kind and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations on where to eat and things to do. Very responsive and checked in to see if we needed anything. Pita goal is across the street which made it easy for when we were hungry. a lot of other restaurants within walking distance. Also walking distance to the old town and easy to find parking! Felt like a local after 4 days as the neighbors always saw us and said hi ! Lol
