A truly incredible and special place to stay. The home is beautiful, spacious, and filled with art. The outdoor patio is filled with lush plants and offers a lovely space to sit. The location is perfect, very close to the port yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We can not speak highly enough of Valia. She made us feel instantly welcome; was very responsive and provided us with helpful information; and ensured the space has everything you may need. It was truly a privilege to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful house during our time in Chania. Thank you Valia for everything!

What a wonderful stay! Fantastic location right next to the Chania Venetian Harbour, steps away from everything the city has to offer. The place was well appointed with all the necessary amenities. The beds and pillows were especially comfortable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful villa. No car needed as within walking distance of local tavernas, small shop and beach. Bus stop just a minutes walk away with regular service in Chania and buzzing village of Platanias. We didn't have children with us but villa was child friendly with option to gate off pool and stairgate. The villa itself was spotless. Pool was cleaned regularly and was spacious. Had several sitting areas in outside space. Although we didn't do any cooking the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. The shower was amazing, powerful with no issues with hot water. A lovely touch was having some supplies waiting for us on arrival such as juice, fruit, spread. Sophia was easy to contact and responsive. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone. Thank you so much Sophia!

A charming old house well restored, full of soul and charm and very pleasant to live in to discover La Canee and the west of Crete. With a real plus, Michalis's kindness and availability, always ready to do a favor, answer a question or advise. And among his very good advice, I remember the Sandbar, its very pleasant coffee facing the sea

The place is even better than the pictures. So spacious, great design, beds were very comfortable. Eva was great! She saved us a parking spot, gave us a bottle of wine and was sooo nice! It’s in the middle of everything and very quiet at night. Highly recommend this place!

The house is in a great location in a quiet village. It is an ideal place to get quiet from the city's noise. A stone house from an earlier era that has, of course, been renovated but at the same time has kept the character of an old village house. Mr. Frantzeskakis was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for all! Until we meet again!

Had a great stay in Almyrida. The village was perfect for a stay with young children - shallow sandy beach, shop, restaurants (one of them even had a kids play area). The beach is mostly occupied by sunbeds from beach-front restaurants so you either have to pay €10 or carry your own (but it's probably 5-10 mins walk so a bit cumbersome). It is about 40 mins driving from Chania airport. We took a taxi on our way there which was €60, but it's probably better to hire a car straight away (which we did for the way back). Radu was going to help us with rental, but unfortunately let us know last minute he didn't have the children's seats that we needed. In the end we got a car rental locally for a better price. The house was good, had everything we needed. Nicely decorated. Three AC units were fantastic, definitely needed beginning of July. I would say more attention could be paid to cleanliness as there were dusty areas in the house and wrappers/rubbish under beds. Very quiet area.

What an amazing little find this place was. So beautiful and peaceful. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. Beautiful gardens, seating areas and a pool! Perfect! We could live here and we were very sad to leave. Property is as described and in our opinion better than the photos. If you want to be out of the town then this is the place to be. 10 min drive to Chania, local market 2 min drive away. The walk up is steep but only 2 mins but worth it. You feel tucked away with the locals here. Goats in the hills, cockerels in the distance, many cats (please help feed them on your stay) and swallows dive bombing the pool in the afternoon. It’s a place for peace and nature. Thank you so much for such a wonderful few days here. We would definitely stay here again but for longer.

We had an amazing time at this air bnb. It was our first time in Crete and we had the feeling the location was good for exploring the island. The airbnb was exactly how it is on the photos. It had everything we needed. The bed was ultra comfy. Best night sleep in a long time. Apostolis was a great host! He was very quick in answering questions and giving good Tipps for hikes and restaurants. We definitely recommend this place and would book again.

Very nice villa, well arranged, well-equipped and easy to access. The accommodation was clean and corresponded 100% to the description. shops and restaurants are accessible on foot or by car. the location of the house was perfect for us and allowed us to visit Chania, its old port its shopping streets, but also to radiate to see the beaches that are close but also the furthest ones like Balos or Elafosini (1h15 by car).

We had a wonderful stay at Aggeliki’s place as a group of 6 women. The 3 bedroom villa we stayed in was spectacular with wonderful views and the shared pool area was beautiful. Our host helped us make arrangements for a private chef (which was unreal) and a boat trip, as well as all taxi’s / transfers. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we would recommend this place to everyone :)

The outdoor pool and patio are fantastic! The indoor house is older with great character including a spiral staircase. The host was very friendly and helpful and gave many local recommendations. He helped us with anything we needed.

Spacious and pleasant accommodation, the rooftop pool offers amazing views of the sea and mountains surrounding the accommodation. Be careful though, nothing is close on foot, you have to take the car to go to a restaurant, supermarket or go to the beach. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the place for you.

The complex is structured around a pool that is not large but still ideal for the number of guests. The outdoor area is well equipped with the availability of sun loungers and umbrellas. There is a small gym but not too equipped. Very well cared for and clean, the interiors of the accommodations are essential but equipped with all comforts. Our apartment for 4 was perhaps a little small, the two beds in the living room are not completely comfortable and ideal only for children; keeping them open they lost indoor space in the living room even if there was still a table on the terrace to eat. Daily cleaning service and change of sheets every three days.. impeccable! The nearby beach has a tavern and a bar with sun loungers, we have always preferred to go around the west area of Crete and not stop there.. it is the ideal location to visit by car Elafonissi, Balos, Falassarna and all the west beaches. 5 minutes by car from Kissamos and 20 from Chania.

Unforgettable stay at Giannis villa at Kampoi. Spacious villa equipped with all necessities to have a hassle free holiday. A well decorated villa and super clean kichen and bed room. The villa is located in mountains with fantastic views to the White Mountains. Quiet area and we loved to walk and explore the surrounding and even offered a cup of coffee by kind neighbors. There is a top rated family restaurant nearby just eight minutes downhill. There is also a winary in just five minutes of drive downhill where you can taste different wines and treats while looking at breathtaking mountain views. I will definitely recommend this beautiful place to my friends and colleagues. Thank you very much Giannis.

Eleftherios family summer house was probably the best stay we have ever had in our many years of travelling the world. Firstly, the house is spacious, has all the amenities and was built as a family summerhouse. The area is peaceful with a great view over the mountains and an endless supply of lemons and oranges during this season from the gigantic garden. The area is full of pristine houses with great views and amazing walks. We spent a month with kids and worked remotely, the internet was fast and the house was equipped with everything we could hope for including air to air heating. The by far best thing about this place is Eleftherios. He is a wonderful, communicative, helpful and generous man. He visited us daily to check up on us, fulfil our wishes and we had many interesting conversations. Thanks to his character, interest in others and charisma we gained a new friend and are determined to be back one day. We could not have hoped for a better place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Kyma Beach during early April. It was very clean and it's a lovely "secret" location down by the beach. The 2 local restaurants were just opening up when we arrived and both served excellent food. Thanks a lot.

Such a fantastic week at Villa Michail, Kalliopi was so welcoming and warm, giving us a full tour of the facilities, and Dimitra was extremely prompt in communication to answer any questions we had. The villa itself is high in the mountains, with exceptional views from multiple angles of the surrounding mountains and greenery. Kalliopi and Michail have renovated the property to a very high standard, retaining numerous features and belongings of when it has been passed through generations of their family. It made our honeymoon really special and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone else. Thank you again!

Maria is an excellent host. I arrived to this experience by hasard and I enjoyed so much. Maria was very supportive about check-in time and even at the end of our trip gave us a lift to the airport. Her car is robust and trustable and the option to camp allowed us to enjoy Crete of an unique way. Thank you very much for everything Maria and I hope we see you again in the future. For today, this is my best experience with Airbnb. It felt like you were visiting a good acquaintance. The house had absolutely everything!! The place was very clean, cozy, looked much better than in the photos. White fluffy towels , robes, clean bedding. In each room there is an air condition. The kitchen is equipped with just everything you need - coffee, tea, butter, sugar…. A nice new frying pan is an ordinary problem with this in the rented accommodation. Lots of necessary utensils. The host left us fruit and lemonade as well as raki. She was constantly in touch and helped with anything. I would rate this place 12 on a 10-point scale 😍 I am very impressed with such a wonderful welcome and hospitality of the hostess. We'll definitely be back !

This was our second time staying at the stone house. It’s perfectly located for exploring Almyrida, Gavalochori and surrounding areas. The house is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Vasilis kindly put a mosquito net above the bed too which made a big difference for our stay this time.
