Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Daratsos

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

super small house, peaceful, next to everything but at the same time away from the world, 10 min and everything is next door, functional, the location is perfect to see all of Crete, 2.5 hours to go to the east of the island, and between 30 min to 1 hour from everything in the west/south west really great I would recommend Great accommodation, the people on the ridge are extremely kind, it really feels good! Go there without hesitation

Very cute, little stone house, perfect for one or two people that want to get away from Chania/ the busy beaches and stay somewhere surrounded by olive trees and small cats. Irene is super welcoming and helpful and I enjoyed every second of my stay.

Atypical place, very quiet and relaxing. Pool to share, very nice when you get back from the beach or hiking.

A great ,spacious, quirky botique 3 bedroom apartment in the heart of the old city of Chania. Very clean with all the amenities, large comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The good wifi and a washing machine were crucial for us. Best of all is the location which is on a lovely, narrow pedestrian cobblestone street in the old town. Restaurants galore and a 5 minute walk to the gorgeous harbor area. Of the 3 Crete cities ,Chania Rithymno, and Herakliona, Chania was the most beautiful and well kept. The best of the 3 to use as a base(We did day trips to the other two towns.) Gannis was abroad, but his friend Christina was so nice, and helpful .She met us where we parked the car and led us through the old town to the apartment.

We loved staying in this calm and peaceful location. The villa is a comfortable size to host 8 people, with all the mod cons you require. The hammock in the garden was well used! Stunning views and having the sea just a few steps away was amazing. It was also only a short walk away from some fabulous restaurants. We would love to come back.

Simply stunning apartment, glorious views and easy access to the little village of Kalyves. We spent most days by the pool and evenings eating at the many restaurants by the beach. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, the views from the living room are stunning. Eleni is an attentive and very responsive host who looked after us extremely well. We will be back very soon!

A gorgeous boho chic, well designed apartment. The host and her husband were so very welcoming and gave great advice, some of the restaurants she recommended were really good and we visited a few gorgeous beaches on their recommendation too. Everything you need in a holiday home! We had a car to explore but you could walk to lots of good local restaurants or hop on the bus. The hosts own restaurants was very good too. The outside areas and pool was really nice. We never had a bad meal and would definitely return to beautiful Crete and her very chic comfortable apartment ☺️☀️

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. The villa is absolutely beautiful, better than the photos. The host is always a call away to help in any way possible. The whole holiday was amazing, house well stocked, outdoors have plenty sun beds and chairs, we absolutely loved it and would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this villa truly is. We were a family of 10 people and the place was perfect to accommodate us. The place is super clean, has all amenities you could possibly need, and has a fantastic view . The location was ideal, it is a 5 mins drive to a few different beaches, there are fantastic restaurants close by and a 15 min drive to get into Chania. What makes this place even better however are the wonderful hosts. They are always responsive with any needs, questions or requests you may have. They are also knowledgeable of the surroundings which is extremely helpful. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place, I would recommend to family and friends. Thank you

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. Thank you again to Giorgos and Maria for hosting us. A very big Sahara sandstorm disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, products available allow you to feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. I can only recommend the Mythic Olive villa 😊

Wonderful unit. Exactly as described very peaceful beautiful pool very clean. Maria was friendly and welcoming and eager to please.

We loved the large balcony that wrapped around the apartment . The sunsets were incredible from there. The outside & inside furniture was of a very good quality and it was great to be able to sit out in the evenings. Inside is very well designed, a great layout, the kitchen is very well equipped and the sofas are very comfortable, the view from the sitting room and kitchen has an incredible sea view . The bathroom is really spacious with a great shower and 2 basins , all of a high standard. The 3 bedrooms all a good size, had lovely views towards the old village and town built up in to the mountain . The bedding was of an exceptional quality. The apartment was so close to the beach & to the the old town. We had incredible meals at both. A bus stop at the end of the road and many supermarkets were great too. Both Phillipe & Michelle were excellent hosts, attentive & helpful, you couldn’t fault them. We loved our stay! Thank you!

Words and photos cannot describe the beauty of this place. We had an absolutely magical visit. The home is comfortable and very clean and everything you need in the kitchen. Stella was the perfect host. She was so kind and thought of everything you might need. Make sure to follow her recommendations for restaurants as they were amazing. Thank you for the delicious homemade treats and a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We look forward to our return.

George was an excellent host, one of the best I’ve ever dealt with on AirBnB! The apartment was in an excellent location, just a stones throw away from the Chania Old Town.

The accommodation was very comfortable and Spyridon was very present and active, ready to respond to any need. We had a slight setback with the bathroom sink drain, despite the fact that we were only there for one night, he was immediately understanding and ready to have a plumber intervene to solve the problem. A very helpful host, and this fact alone makes the stay worthwhile.

We loved this place. The balcony was very large with a direct view of the sea. There was a natural swimming area in front of the place that was perfect for a dip anytime. The sunsets were amazing. It is close enough to walk to the Chania city center, but a car is recommended to visit the many beaches on the island. Elpida was always available for any guidance that was needed. The place is a gem we hope to visit again!

Great place located between two beaches. Easy to walk around with great restaurants and easy access to places we wanted to see. Was able to check in early which was super kind. Host met us at the door and showed us around and was always there if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again!

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Really enjoyed the comfortable stay here. Host gave us a very warm welcome although we arrived past midnight. We were greeted with some local treats and he always helped with good recommendations on places to visit, activities and restaurants. Would definitely recommend staying here, although it is not exactly in the city centre, it’s very peaceful and only few minutes drive by car. The apartment is newly refurbished with nice interior and facilities. The kind hospitality we experienced is definitely a highlight of our crete trip!
