Our peaceful and spacious house of 240 sq. m can easily host a family of 8. It is surrounded by a vast mature garden, a private pond just 50m from the house, a chestnut orchard and fruit trees. The supermarket is 5 minute walking distance, as are the boulangerie, a cafe- restaurant/ pharmacie and the weekly market square.

Our 1829 house has been renovated in a style that harmoniously blends the old and the modern. Upon entering, you will be seduced by a large living room with all the necessary equipment to have a pleasant stay. On the ground floor, a bedroom for two and a bathroom equipped with a large shower. Upstairs you will find another double bed, a single bed and a baby bed as well as everything you need to keep you busy as a family. A garden with lounge and barbecue.

La Vieille Porcherie - Beautiful French Gîte

La Vieille Porcherie is a typical French self-contained gîte dating back to the 17th Century. The gite is situated in a quiet hamlet between Cussac and Oradour-sur-Vayres. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with numerous swimming lakes in the vicinity, wonderful walks, fabulous quiet roads for cycling and also great VTT trails. A former piggery, now a lovely gîte, beside our home in this beautiful part of France.
