Tuscan Nature Views From Casa Gave

The house consists of two apartments within a wing of the Gave manor house in Sorana, a little village in the heart of Svizzera Pesciatina in Tuscany. Far from the crowd of cities, it's the right place where to escape and find relax. Admire the original wood beam ceilings and wooden fixtures while sitting around the indoor fireplace or spend a sunny afternoon out in the garden under the pergola or in the swimming pool surrounded by the olive trees terraces (airbnb.com/h/casagavenaturarelax). The apartment, with separate entrance, is composed as follows: - kitchen-living room with wood burning fireplace complete with all appliances, microwave, kettle and TV; - double bedroom with wardrobe and sofa bed. Removable baby bed available on request; - bathroom with toilet, shower and bidet. The property was completely renovated in 2017 respecting the original features, such as ceilings with chestnut beams, local stone walls, chestnut window frames and wrought iron gates. The furniture are made of wood recovered from the original beams. Outside there are a pergola covered by a wisteria where you can relax or eat and a bbq available for lunches and dinners. A ping-pong table and table football are also available. As we live next to the apartment we are available for any need of the guest. The home is in a natural setting with multiple areas for scenic hikes to enjoy. Take a trip to the amazing Lucca or to the Montecarlo vineries, or to the seaside in Versilia, have a spa day at Montecatini Terme, visit the Pinocchio Park in Collodi, and enjoy authentic cuisine at the local restaurants. Le Muricciole, is a beautiful apartment recently restored in an old farmer's house on the sunny hills covered with olive orchards. Table,umbrella,armchairs allow to eat outside. It is at about 5 km from Lucca,medieval town, birth place of the opera composer Puccini. You can hike or bike ride on the river park, go to the seaside,only 20km away. You will like this place for the following reasons: light, intimacy, and peace. It is perfect for families, couples, groups, and people who work.

Excellent location both for cultural tourism, it is 25 km from Lucca and about 50 minutes by car from Pisa and Viareggio, and for sports tourism, you can do rafting, canoeing, hiking, fishing, paragliding etc. and there are numerous ski slopes 30 km away. From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends, including young children, in Brian's lovely villa. The property has fantastic views and is enormous. Brian was very helpful throughout our stay. He arranged a delicious meal for us one evening. We were particularly grateful that they came up with a special vegan menu for two of our friends, who really appreciated the effort and the food! I would definitely go back.

We had a wonderful stay at Lucia’s Place — quiet, relaxing, and with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Tucked away at the end of a dirt track, the location feels peaceful and secluded, yet it’s still easy to reach. The setting is scenic and ideal, especially if you're attending one of the many beautiful local weddings in the area. What really made our stay exceptional was Paola. She’s incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful and knowledgeable about the local area — a true superstar. It was a real pleasure to meet her, and she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil, well-equipped place in a picturesque setting.

This is the most beautiful home. Up In the hills, with stunning views, spread over 3 floors, it’s extremely spacious. It’s just been renovated to a high standard, everything is immaculate. 4 large double bedrooms split over the 1st and 2nd floors. Maria and family are wonderful, communicating easily and quickly, meeting us at the bottom of the hill to travel up. Showing us around and available for local recommendations etc but giving 100% privacy. The pool is absolutely stunning and solely for your use. We can not recommend it enough.

What an amazing stay! The views from the villa are spectacular, and the villa itself was immaculate. It felt so private & peaceful. We had Chef Niki come for a private dinner and a cooking class, and he was fantastic. Brunella and Giacomo were very helpful and responsive before our stay and throughout our time there. I’m already dreaming about coming back!
