Eynsham (the nearest village) isn’t technically in the Cotswolds, but it’s very close. Located in Oxfordshire, just west of Oxford, it lies outside the official Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). However, it has many of the same charming features as Cotswold villages, including historic architecture and a picturesque, rural atmosphere. If you’re seeking a Cotswold-style experience near Oxford, Eynsham is a fantastic choice. The Airbnb itself is a coach house adjoining the main house—a quaint little one-up, one-down cottage that has everything a solo traveler or couple might need. I took a walk along the River Thames to Eynsham Lock. The entire area is incredibly scenic and perfect for a leisurely stroll. Chris and Sue, have created a wonderful place to stay. If you’re looking for a place to stay on the edge of the Cotswolds, I highly recommend this place.

Very well equipped place in a peaceful part of Botley, Oxford. Great for walks in nature while still being on a direct bus line to Oxford city center. I really appreciated how easy it was to cook and do my laundry, all basics were provided. The dedicated workspace was great, bring your own cable if you would like to use the monitor. And yes, it's pinker than your average bedroom : D

A perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter at university. Spotlessly clean, well equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast and a good coffee machine were an added bonus. We will be back soon!

We have stayed here several times. The location is perfect for us and the place is well appointed and large enough to accommodate an extended stay.
