House vacation rentals in Cumnor

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

We stayed at the house for weekend of birthday celebrations, the house was great and the garden, pool and surroundings were fabulous. The kitchen area was perfect for gatherings and loads of space to unpack. The beds were really comfortable, maybe an option to have a couple of additional twin beds as the majority were all double. The house was spotless and with the weather being perfect we couldn’t have asked for more. Anne was accommodating in all requests and information about the local area. I would highly recommend this property, we had a fabulous weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

We spent Christmas at Salix House and we were 11 pax in the party. Charlotte is an amazing hostess and her property is absolutely fabulous! The house is very well equipped and there’s so much to do: ping pong table, football, books and bars games. We had a fantastic time there and we would love to book to go in the summer! My husband and I are going other places in England and Europe, but I’m afraid this one will be hard to beat! It was just that lovely. This cozy guest cottage was just what we were looking for, and Georgina and Alex were the most welcoming and helpful hosts. They made sure we had everything we could’ve needed and went above and beyond what would be expected of them! They picked up that we were foreigners using the public transportation system and were so helpful (to say the least) to help us navigate that. We just loved every aspect of the stay! It’s the perfect small-town getaway or stop on your way into the “big cities” (London/Oxford). Will be back for sure!

We had a fantastic time in Kingham. The living spaces were bright and airy with lots of space for 6 adults, a baby and a big dog. Everything we needed was at the house. Comfy beds.

A lovely spacious cottage - plenty of space, clean and well-kept. The location was great - a few minutes' walk to the bus stop served by buses every 10min to Oxford, and a short walk in the other direction to Waitrose and Abingdon town centre. Great communication from the hosts, clear instructions for arrival/departure.

We had an amazing stay at Thyme Cottage. It is an absolutely charming space with a beautiful garden - in an enchanting village with the kindest people! We loved walking from Blenheim Palace to the cottage and also enjoyed the delicious bread and jam Alison had left as a gift. This was a magical stay - thank you Alison!

Fantastic stay. Close to the train station yet less than 15 min from the historic centre of town. Apartment was full of light all day long. We have been travelling for about 4 weeks and it was LOVELY not to rely on elevators and have neighbours. Unit is extremely well cared for. Would recommend to anyone visiting this lovely city. Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Clementine Cottage. The location is fantastic—an easy walk to both the town center and Blenheim Palace. We had a car and really appreciated the convenience of a designated parking spot. The cottage itself is charming, clean, and very comfortable. While it’s located off a busy road and there was some traffic noise during the day, it quieted down at later at night and didn’t affect our sleep. Overall, we had a great experience and would be happy to return in the future.

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Amy’s house is lovely - just as shown in the photos. We spent a lot of time in the kitchen/diner area which gave plenty of space for cooking and eating, as well as children playing. Beds were comfy and showers powerful. The location is within easy driving distance of Oxford and lots of attractions - and has a good selection of local pubs and takeaways nearby. Parking for one car in driveway and we were fortunate to be able to park other one opposite - and I imagine there would always be space nearby. The house felt very private/quiet when inside, which was really nice. Thanks for having us Amy!

A perfect stay for us. A quiet location and we had some relaxing moments outside watching the sunsets in the evenings. Lesley has been fantastic. We mislaid a key to the cottage and she was so quick to get us another one. So impressed. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen were pristine and the lounge had the most comfy sofa I've been on in an Airbnb. All in all a great experience.

Anne’s studio was located in a lovely little quaint lane right at the end, the perfect place for a private place to stay with access to absolutely beautiful countryside literally outside the gate, Anne went above and beyond for us whilst also respecting our privacy, she was very friendly and polite upon arrival meaning we settled right in, as for money for value this is right up there a spacious spotless bungalow with everything you could need, definitely one to visit

Lovely house in an extremely convenient spot. Central Oxford is a 10 minute walk away and although the house is 2 minutes from the station, it is in a quiet location. Having access to 3 parking spaces is a great bonus. The rear courtyard was a good sun trap and a lovely place to sit and relax. Carole is a proactive host and quick to reply to messages. I highly recommend staying in the property.
