Lovely annex in a convenient location. Kate was the perfect hostess and the breakfast (including fresh fruit and homemade jams) was delicious!

We stayed for a short break whilst visiting family near by. My 6 and 4 year old children were delighted to be able to see sheep and hens from the window and loved watching all the different birds come to the feeder each morning. The lodge was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The eggs and cake were delicious too. Bonus of getting to see hours old lambs before we left! We will definitely return.

The Nook is a little gem. I loved my stay there. It is perfect for a single person or cosy couple. Every need has been thoughtfully and tastefully provided for. I hope I get to ‘book The Nook’ again.

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.
