We had a lovely stay at the Barn. Once the heating was on it felt very homely and was perfect for our getaway trip.

Sally was a fantastic host at the farm, she made us feel very welcome. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and well fitted. Sally let the boys feed the chickens and meet the ponies which was great fun. The tennis court was great as well. Would highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Sam’s cottage is cosy and clean. A traditional cottage in a traditional village. We felt welcome and that our dog was welcome too. We had lovely sunny weather so were able to sit in the pretty enclosed garden. The evenings were quite chilly outside, but the cottage heating was efficient and we were warm inside. I would recommend to take your slippers though just because the floors downstairs are tiled, which is a lovely original feature, but cold to walk on. We had no problem with the steep stairs, and we’re not young, but they may be an issue for younger children/people with mobility issues. The handrail on the stairs is good. Everything worked well and we weren’t missing anything we needed. Parking was plentiful on the lane. We shopped at the local convenience store, open late even on a Sunday, but we didn’t try the local pub. On both nights we ate at the Red Lion in Hunningham, a five minute drive away. Very good. It was recommended by family who live nearby. We hope to stay again.
