This was our second stay at Debbie's wonderful apartment on the beachfront in Westward Ho! The location is perfect, with everything on the doorstep and the apartment was just as clean and homely as our first stay 3 years prior. So many cafes and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, souvenir shops, arcades and activities, kids play park - everything we need for a short family getaway. Debbie is a lovely host and we'd definitely consider staying again if we plan another trip to Devon. Make sure you visit The Big Sheep...10 mins away and a brilliant day out for the kids!

The apartment was modern and well stocked. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, and the location was excellent, private parking which included the use of an EV charger. Local amenities were great too with a Sainsbury’s and Morrisons located within 5 mins drive. Crooklets beach which is 1 minute walk from the apartment was great with local bars and cafe, however we walked a little further along the coast and visited Summerleaze beach which was amazing. Cornish Secrets customer services rep Kate was really helpful, on the first night we had an issue with the EV charger and contacted Kate at 21:30hrs, she has the issue resolved before 22:00. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend visiting

This place is in a great location, is very modern, clean and well equipped. We stayed for a week at the end of August with two children and had a great time in Bude and the surrounding area. The closest beach is easily walkable, but with two children and lots of beach stuff we took the car a couple of times, but there was plenty of parking, especially at Croocklet's beach, which is a bit further away. The beach itself is great for kids, with plenty of space and lots to do (rock pools, waves, sea pool, etc.) The accommodation is in a new block, with a spacious deck and a lovely view over-looking the canal, where you can also hire paddle boards, boats, or just walk. The Check-in and out was very easy and instructions were clear and simple. We were very happy with the stay at Andrew's place.

Lucky to have beautiful weather for a birthday weekend - the view from the apartment was stunning, the hosts most warm & welcoming, and a great cooked breakfast. We will be back!

Deborah & Richard are fantastic hosts. Very friendly and informative. Richard gave us a great description of the area and what to expect. The Annexe is stunning. VERY clean and had everything you need for a short/holiday stay. Their added touches of treats and towel for the dog are amazing, even though we didn’t end up taking our dog. Attention to detail is second to none. Thank you Deborah and Richard x

Our first family holiday and our first visit to Devon. Kate & Ali’s house was perfect in every way. The West Wing felt luxurious at a great, family-friendly cost and was in a beautiful, rural setting with friendly hosts. Although the west wing sits next to the host’s home, it still felt very private. Thank you Kate and Ali for the welcome gifts, the hidden Easter treats and for being all-round accommodating and great hosts. We are hoping to return to The West Wing when we are in need of further relaxation. Thank you again ❤️

Perfect location to walk to the beach with our 2 dogs. Cori very helpful with a map of easiest way to get to the beach from the house. House just as described, clean and well equipped. lovely welcome pack. We loved it so much we have booked to go back in April.

Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Wonderful place for a New Year’s Eve getaway. Ant and Amanda’s bolt hole was perfect….cosy, everything you could want or need and great location. They were very welcoming and always helpful. We would highly recommend their place at any time of the year

A great house in a lovely location right beside the Tarka Trail. The house had loads of space, great communal areas for everyone. John spoke to me on the phone and was very welcoming and helpful. Many thanks John, we had a great stay.

A lovely stay, had everything you could possibly need - we had two infants with us and loved the amount of space. Felt like we where out in the countryside but only 5mins from a big food shop. Lots of lovely walks nearby

We had a great stay at Anchor Down. The house is in a great location just around the corner from the village. The house felt spacious and bright, with beautiful views from the bedroom windows. Great communication from Steve throughout making for a pleasant experience!

I had an amazing time, caravan was was pristine and felt homely Clare was helpful and very responsive when needed, will definitely be returning in the future and I loved my stay

A very comfortable flat in a perfect location, the beach and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. Quiet and secure, with underground parking. Super comfortable bed, we enjoyed the character of the flat, and all the facilities in the kitchen. Access and check-in was very easy. We loved our stay here.

We stayed here for a wedding at Tunnels Beaches which was less than a 5 minute walk away so ideal location! Kirsten was very friendly and was easy to contact - replies were instant. The property was lovely and had all amenities you needed. There were lots of thoughtful little touches like toiletries you may have forgotten and dog towels should you bring a four legged friend! It can be a little hard to find the property, as it’s tucked in, but Kirsten provided clear instructions which I would follow over the sat nav. A wonderful couple of days - thanks again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sam’s - place was as described and did not disappoint! The only slight downside was that the check in instructions were slightly confusing and we got slightly lost initially - we looked for an apartment labelled 30(1) on floor SF and eventually figured out after some time that it meant apartment 30 on the second floor. Other than that though, fabulous stay and would thoroughly recommend to all! We were especially impressed with how well-stocked the place was, amenities wise, and all the electronics and kitchen ware provided were top notch :)

Andrew is the perfect host, very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment is beautiful, clean and fabulous interiors. We have had the perfect week and cannot wait to come back later in the year.

Beautiful, clean, peaceful, perfect location. The Retreat has everything you need with sea views from the comfort of the sofa. Rebecca was incredibly hospitable considering I had to leave a day early due to unforeseen circumstances. Will definitely return. Sooner rather than later I hope 🫶🏼

Excellent location 5 minutes walk from the beach and very close to shops and restaurants. EV charger was a real bonus for us and made getting around hassle free. The apartment was exactly as described and had all mod cons, felt like home from home. Fiona was a great host and communication was great.
