Ana was a kind and helpful hostess. Her father met us at the door with the keys, and gave us a tour of the apartment The apartment is just as described, although the beds were a bit too firm for my liking. The setting is perfect. It’s a quick walk to the heart of the city, with tree lined streets, numerous parks and flower gardens. There are also numerous excellent restaurants in the neighborhood.

We loved our stay! I loved having the coffee Jorge provided in the balcony every morning while enjoying the view. The apartment felt like home. It is well located near the town center, local market, supermarket, etc. Jorge is an amazing host. He took the time to meet up at check-in, showed us around the unit and pointed out local attractions. We also appreciated the wine and pastries he left for us when we checked in. I am so glad we found this place and I would definitely stay again!

Das Apartment und die Lage bzw. der Blick und die Ausstattung waren super. Allerdings gehört zur Wahrheit, das Drumherum gerade viel gebaut wird. Dafür kann der Gastgeber nicht, aber es entsteht ein komplett neues Viertel und auf dem Balkon bekommt man es von Montag-Samstag bis 19h mit. Im Apartment bekommt man es so gut wie nicht mit. Daher 5 Sterne mit Einschränkung von uns.

If I were to own a place in Porto this is the one I would want! Centrally located, within a short walk to all the major sights, it is on the top two floors on a corner with a terrace on both sides, great views in both directions, sun all day and as much privacy as you could hope for in the middle of a city. The classical building is beautifully restored. The apartment has superb minimalist detailing of the modern insertions: en suites, bathroom, kitchen and stair. It is excellent thermally. In mid-July the cool evenings balanced the warm days and with one bedroom window ajar at night we did not need the air-conditioning even on the upper living level. However you might want the well sealed external doors and windows closed for early morning garbage collections, and possibly for the street performers below during the afternoon and early evening but mostly we enjoyed the music and liveliness. It is expensive but worth it for the quality, especially if you need the second bedroom.

다양한 나라에서 에어비앤비를 제법 이용해 보았지만, 이렇게 완벽한 숙소는 처음이었습니다. 사실 정말로 모든게 완벽해서 어디부터 칭찬을 해야할 지 모르겠어요. 가장 인상깊었던 것은 청결이고, 유니크한 인테리어와 환상적인 뷰, 비상약까지 챙겨두는 세심함입니다. 직접 작성한 듯한 가이드북도 감동적이었습니다. 방 크기는 한국으로 치면 잘 빠진 1.5룸 정도이고, 창문 밖은 한강뷰 뺨 때리는 포르투의 주황색 지붕과 동루이스강 뷰입니다. 한인마트에서 식재료를 사와 라면이나 떡볶이도 해먹었는데요. 오븐, 전자렌지, 인덕션이랑 식기도구들도 너무 잘 구비되어 있으니까, 문어나 대구요리에 지치신 분들은 꼭 해먹어 보세요. 아 그리고 세탁기 사용도 할 수 있어요. 보통 유럽은 장기 여행으로 많이들 오니까, 속옷이나 티셔츠도 빨래할 수 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 번화가에서는 조금 떨어져 있는데, 관광객들이 종종 지나다니는 깨끗한 길이고, 현지 주민들도 자주 왔다갔다 합니다. 치안은 걱정 안해도 될 것 같아요. 그리고 주변 이웃들도 너무 친절합니다. 제가 잠시 곤란한 상황이 생겼었는데, 진심으로 걱정하고 적극적으로 도와주었습니다. 굳이 단점을 언급하자면, 첫 방문 시, 무거운 캐리어를 이끌고 언덕길을 올라가는 것이 제법 힘듭니다. 혹시 포르투로 2박이상 여행오는 분들(특히 신혼여행 온 한국 커플)께 정말 정말 강추 드립니다. 칭찬을 더 쓰고 싶은데, 글 쓰는 재주가 없어서 이만 마칩니다. 앞으로 포르투갈을 다시 오게된다면 꼭 다시 방문할게요 클라우디아. 좋은 경험을 하게 해줘서 감사해요.

Incredible location & everything we needed for a 3 day weekend visit

위치 정말 최고였고, 뷰도 너무 좋았어요. 인테리어도 군더더기 없이 예뻐서 머무는 동안 기분이 좋았어요. 그릇 등도 너무 잘 준비되어 있고, 언제든 마실 수 있는 와인도 감사했어요. 의사소통도 명쾌하고 빨랐습니다. 움직일 수 있는 샤워기가 없는 것만 아쉬웠습니다. 추천합니다!

We had a great time here! The space is small but very clean, cute and has everything you need. The balcony was great and we enjoyed several mornings sipping coffee outside. Daniel was very communicative, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here. Location was also perfect and in walking distance of the Ribeira!

Recomendo bastante este alojamento. Super limpo e com todas as comodidades. A relação qualidade/preço é fantástica. A localização é bastante boa e o facto de ter estacionamento privado torna este local perfeito para a estadia. Nunca foi tão fácil fazer um check-in e check-out. A Mariana é super simpática e atenciosa o que torna todo o processo mais simples. Irei voltar certamente ☺️

I was absolutely Gaga over Jorge’s place! Exquisitely curated with architectural details that were just impeccable. As an interior designer, this space has my fervent stamp of approval. The neighborhood is great - tree lined streets, lots of students and just nice and quiet. Jorge’s recs were thorough and thoughtful. We loved Porto much more than other cities in PT, and will definitely come back here if we can. The fresh fruit was much appreciated 🥰

We were a group of 4 adults, a 9 month old baby, a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and the house was perfect for everybody! Great space inside and outside (dogs enjoyed a lot exploring around, very safe), big bedrooms - each one had its own bathroom (they provided a cot for our little one), and a very well equipped kitchen. Isaque and his mom were very responsive, caring and available, made our stay super comfortable, providing some nice little "gifts" and local treats for us to enjoy along the days. We had a lovely and peaceful time. The pool is amazing, it had nice views as well. Not much to do around the area (I'd recommend to take everything you need for the entire stay), just little walks or hiking (you need a car to reach the closest town or the mini market), so if you are looking to spend some days with family, just enjoying nature and away from the every-day-rush, this is your place.

Wir waren eine Woche zu sechst in dem Haus und hatten eine fantastische Zeit! Leider war es draußen eher kalt und hat fast durchgängig nur geregnet, sodass wir die tolle Außenanlage mit Pool nur sehr wenig genutzt haben. Aber auch bei Regen kann man dort super entspannen: drinnen am Kamin auf der Couch, mit Gesellschaftsspielen am großen Esstisch, beim Billard oder Dart. Draußen bietet der überdachte Bereich am Steinofen und Grillplatz selbst bei Regen einen gemütlichen Ort, wir haben dort gegrillt, Pizza gebacken und zusammen Sport gemacht. Der Ausblick vom Pool und dem Steintisch oben ist mindestens so schön wie auf den Fotos, traumhaft! Die Betten sind super bequem, wir haben hervorragend geschlafen. Nebenan bellen Hunde, daran haben wir uns aber schnell gewöhnt. Die Lage ist schon sehr weit vom Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt, mit Auto aber kein Problem. César war ein hervorragender Gastgeber, hat uns sogar nachts empfangen und war jederzeit erreichbar und super nett!

The view from the pool is INCREDIBLE! The location is perfect if you’re wanting to be in nature but not too far from groceries/restaurants. We spent the day hiking in the national park and spent sunset lounging in the pool. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a fabulous stay at Josés property. The space was beautifully designed, it had a very zen feel. We felt so relaxed there. It was a perfect spot for visiting Guimarães and Jose was very thorough when we met him, telling us all about his property and the local area. Would highly recommend and would have loved to have stayed longer

La casa do Bobal ha superado nuestras expectativas, aunque en las fotos ya se ve que está muy completa, estando allí es todavía más bonita y muy acogedora, sé nota que fue decorada por una familia y no sólo para huéspedes, nos hemos sentido como en casa, las camas son cómodas, la casa estaba súper limpia, el patio de atrás está genial, hemos disfrutado mucho de la hamaca y también del juego de dardos, en la casa hay más opciones de juegos de mesa para jugar delante la chimenea si hace frío como en nuestro caso... pudimos llevar nuestra chihuahua y hemos tenido mucha privacidad, el pueblo también es muy bonito y hay varios senderos y cositas que visitar en la zona. Luis es muy amable y ha tenido detalles con nosotros como pedir que el panadero nos dejara el pan fresco en la puerta por la mañana! super recomendable! Ya estamos deseando volver :)

Ricardo has been responsive since the original booking months ago. The apartment was very clean, beds were comfortable, apartment was quiet. He met us there to give the instructions in person and was quick to respond for any needs. This place is highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Home Essences. We found it even better than the pictures indicated. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and a toddler with everyone having their own private space and bathroom. The set up was perfect. We found it clean and well stocked and would not hesitate to return if given the chance. Joana was an excellent host - very helpful and responsive!

The apartment was really nice and spacious with a big balcony where we enjoyed the sun. The kitchen was also well equipped with the essentials. Also a big plus was a private parking spot in the garage. Paula and her team were very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay!

Pasamos 4 días muy agradables en el apartamento, que está muy bien situado en el centro de Matosinhos y cuenta con todo tipo de negocios cerca (también la playa!). Está muy bien para una pareja o una persona sola. Y Fernando, el anfitrión, te dará toda la información necesaria para disfrutar de tu estancia, y estará pendiente para resolver cualquier asunto que sirva para hacer aún más satisfactorio tu viaje. En resumen, una gran experiencia!

L'appartamento è attualmente in ristrutturazione e ci è stato dato quello al piano inferiore simile ma con una grande terrazza L'appartamento comunque nuovo, comodo e pulitissimo. Dal 22 al 29 maggio, con mia moglie e mio figlio, abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento dotato di ogni confort, tutti gli elettrodomestici in cucina e nel bagno sono nuovi. Tutta la biancheria, da letto e da bagno, è stata disponibile e perfetta. Letto matrimoniale comodo e grande Inoltre in casa c'è un wi-fi perfetto e veloce e due condizionatori nuovi L'alloggio si trova vicino a Campanha, in una zona tranquilla ed il condominio è molto silenzioso. David è stato gentile e disponibile rispondendo immediatamente alle nostre domande Soggiorno da rifare sicuramente ... Consigliatissimo. Grazie di tutto Prima volta su Airbnb ed è stato tutto fantastico...ho trovato David!!!

Great location right in the city center, within walking distance to everything around. Parking spot was very convenient and safe as it was in a private underground parking lot. The place was very clean, quiet and had everything that we could need! Would highly recommend.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Zudem liegt sie sehr zentral, man ist in ca. 20min in der Innenstadt Portos und in wenigen Gehminuten entfernt erreicht man Café's, Restaurants etc. Die Kommunikation zu Nuno verlief reibungslos, Nuno ist ein toller Gastgeber! Gerne kommen wir wieder!
