Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Costa Mesa

I loved it here so much, I can’t wait to be back! The private fully fenced outdoor area was great for my dogs, made the space feel very private. There’s laundry access right there too! A couple nights a week from around 6-7 pm next door at the school they have a full orchestra run through the songs they’re working on, which was a treat! I don’t know if it’s kids playing but it doesn’t sound like it, sounds like a pro orchestra! The space is super cute and laid out perfectly, I never had any complaints the entire stay. I am already booking my next stay!!

Our stay was comfortable & enjoyable. The hosts are very helpful & accommodating. Location was within walking distance of plenty of restaurants & cafes. Would certainly stay here again.

We had the most amazing stay. The location is right on the beach/boardwalk and steps to a Newport Pier. We walked to great restaurants/coffee every morning. No need for a vehicle! The units were spotless, updated and well stalked with supplies. We will definitely be back!

A great host who was very responsive and welcoming. I needed last minute accommodation, was able to book at 9pm for a 10pm check-in. Place was tidy and I had no issues during my stay. Would definitely stay at Nils’ place next time I am in LA.

Sherman was a very responsive & friendly host, my partner & I had a wonderful stay at Sherman's lovely Carson Gem! The Airbnb had everything we needed: AC, washer + dryer, kitchen, fridge, and bathroom/shower. The bed mattress was quite soft that one would easily sink into. The place was kept quite clean & tidy, check-in/check-out was easy, and things were conveniently accessible. At one point, the lock batteries needed to be replaced. I had messaged Sherman about it and he immediately came to the rescue to insert new ones. It was certainly a pleasure to stay at Sherman's unit, we would definitely come back if available :)

Dan’s place is perfectly located in the heart of the city. I didn’t feel like a tourist in a hotel I felt like a resident in an apartment. It was very clean and also had a great view. Dan was very responsive and gave us suggestions on where to park. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Cute 1 bedroom apartment in a good location with easy access to restaurants, the beach, or a good jumping point to explore the surrounding areas. Apartment was well stocked, comfortable, and great for my 1 month stay. Hosts were nice and even offered to do my laundry so I wouldn’t have to find a laundromat

Our family of 8 had an amazing stay at this Huntington Beach Airbnb! The home was spacious, clean, and well set up to comfortably accommodate a larger group. There were plenty of beds, towels, and a fully stocked kitchen that made meals easy to prepare. One of our favorite parts was all the beach gear provided—chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even beach bikes! It made heading to the beach a breeze, and riding along the beach was a highlight of our trip. We didn’t have to bring a thing, which made traveling so much easier. The location was perfect: close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. After busy beach days, we loved coming back to a comfortable, relaxing space where everyone could spread out. The host was warm, helpful, responsive and we look forward to going back!

Stayed in one of Jose’s properties for a weekend. Listing was just as described. Jose was VERRRYYY communicative and responsive. Also as accommodating as he could be.The house itself was on a busy street however, you access it from the back and once on the property, it felt safe. The inside of the house was cozy and perfect for my group of 6. Getting inside the driveway was a bit challenging with a big SUV because neighbors would park in the alley, allowing minimal space for us to get into the parking but we managed to squeeze our way in. I also saw in previous reviews about neighbors playing loud music. We didn’t experience this until our last day, and yes the music was LOUD. However, another neighbor talked to them and they turned it down. Turns out they were rehearsing for a quincenera. My fave part about the stay was the MINIMAL check out list. Usually i feel like there’s a long list of chores before checking out of an airbnb and this was E-Z peezy! Thanks Jose!!

The house was exactly as described in the description! The house was very clean and the neighborhood was nice and felt safe. Paul also provided clear instructions on how to check in and was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Would definitely book again!

Great place to stay for your next Disney trip. It’s close to the park but personally wouldn’t do this walk when it’s extremely hot season. Can see the fireworks from the front door. Place is updated with new appliances, big clear TV and very clean. Nice open living area space for our little kids to run around and play. Host is accommodating and quickly responsive to questions. Only negative I would say is the master bathroom - It’s fairly cramped (even for us as smaller Asian people) and when using the toilet your face is literally in the sink. I believe this was added in during a remodel and not a complete deal breaker unless you’re sharing the house with a large amount of people as the main bathroom is great. Overall would stay again. Thanks for hosting my family.

We had the perfect stay here for our daughter's graduation from Biola. Easy commute to campus and a nice quiet neighborhood. Chelsey's flexibility to rent the back apartment or not allowed us to spread out and accommodate our whole family. The house is nicely renovated with modern features. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. It was unusually hot that weekend, but the A/C helped keep us mostly cool. It didn't really reach the bedrooms, but there were fans in each. Chelsey was kind enough to let us check in a little early after our long flight and was so gracious to us. Fabulous place to stay!

I really enjoyed staying here. It was my first time in California and I felt the location was ideal for restaurants, beaching, and most importantly- relaxing. Condo was beautiful, clean, and worth every penny. Jay communicated clear instructions of how to get into the condo. It felt safer with there being a gate and security. We really loved being able to take our pets and the condos having places to take them out was super convenient. The condo amenities were such a plus. Overall, I recommend staying here and enjoyed our time tremendously.

Great location - we wanted to stay near our son. Walked every morning to get great cup of coffee. Super workout facility. Covered parking spot ✅ also was able to get some laundry done in the middle of our long trip. Would stay again!

Chandra was very quick in responding and very sweet! She did what was needed to make you feel at home. She also had procedures in place to help in the case you are allergic to cats, as I am, and if you follow them, you will not have any issues! Would definitely book again in the future.

Super nice and quite apartment with everything you need. It´s spacious and you really feel like home the moment you enter it. It´s not that kind of living in a flat which is just rented for air bnb reasons anyway. The community is really relaxed too. You have 2 pools and little rivers / ponds with ducks all around the area. Overall very clean and Jess is a nice host. 10/10

Can’t beat the price for what you get!!! Host was extremely accommodating allowing for an earlier check in time, extra towels, and being open to more guests. Clear instructions were given the day before our check in and everything was easy to find and to check in. Super fast response times and always super friendly!! Condo was exactly as pictured! The pull out couch wasn’t available but the air mattress was very comfortable!! Clean sheets and bathrooms! Kitchen was very nice as well!! The rooftop patio was amazing with a great view of the city line and the hollywood sign. The location was near lots of attractions (10-20min drive) such as the hollywood hike entrance, griffith park/observatory, Universal Studios, and the hollywood walk of fame. The drive to Santa Monica pier was ~45-55min with traffic. Small downfall is the door does not have a deadbolt lock - it only has the code lock to lock the door, but I would 100% come back and stay here again because it still felt very safe!! :)
