Family-friendly vacation rentals in Costa da Caparica

We had a wonderful time at Jorge’s place. The house is wonderful, has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice! It’s huge and beautiful and very comfortable. We travelled with our 2 young children (2 &4) and it was perfect. The outside space is also lovely, nice pool and outside seating with sun or shade. The area was lovely, supermarkets etc nearby. Also went to an amazing beach and restaurant on Jorge’s recommendation. Communication throughout was easy and helpful. They even stocked the fridge for us with dinner on our first night. Couldn’t ask for more, thank you! We’ll be back.

Excellent séjour au coeur de Lisbon. Ariane nous a accueilli de façon extrêmement gentille et prévenante dans son appartement, malgré une arrivée plus tardive que prévu. Tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi, il ne manque ni d'espace ni de confort, ni d'équipement. Le quartier très central est idéal pour visiter Lisbon, et calme la nuit, même s'il peut sembler un peu moins sécurisant que d'autres quartiers de Lisbon. juste à noter que les escaliers sont un peu raides mais comme je pense partout dans le vieux centre de Lisbon. Encore merci à Ariane pour ce merveilleux sejour

Miguel was very friendly and flexible with the check in and check out time. The apartment is large with a great view! We had a lovely stay.

Fantastic location in old Sintra! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved people watching from the balcony doors down to the main square. We walked to Peña, Moorish Castle & Quinta de Regaleira. We were there just before Easter (low season) and found parking on road as advised by host. Used the drop off/pick up space nearby for unloading.

Notre séjour était génial, la villa est incroyablement belle. Les hôtes sont réactifs et accueillants. Les alentours sont joli, et la plage est à 10 minutes en vélo. Je recommande fortement

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine chez Teresa, qui est une hôte très accueillante ! Tout était parfait, le centre-ville de Sesimbra étant accessible à pieds. Nous avons adoré la vue sur la mer depuis le rooftop du bâtiment, sans parler de la piscine et du jacuzzi ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Beijinhos!

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Ana und Jorge. Jorge hat uns freundlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Wir haben eine kleine und leckere Grundausstattung für die Küche bekommen und haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt. Ana hat uns immer wieder hilfreiche Tipps gesendet. Für unsere kleine Tochter haben sie alles nötige bereitgestellt. Wenn wir mal wieder in Lissabon sind, dann auf jedenfall hier!

Amazing property and very helpful host

Extérieur impeccable pour ce genre de location, soleil, piscine, terrasse, cheminée-barbecue, maison "comme à la maison" avec tout ce qu'il faut pour y vivre, bien équipé en électro ménagé, au calme malgré les chiens "portugais" qui aboient souvent la nuit mais presque pas dans notre cas, calme au niveau voisinage, le marché à 100m de la maison et les supermarchés qui ne sont pas très loin non plus, ma plage préférée (Princesa) à 5mn en voiture..

Such a beautiful place in a great town. We really enjoyed staying in the middle of everything and exploring in the morning and evenings when things were less busy. Patricia has the place very well stocked with great towels, robes, etc!

La ubicación es perfecta, la comunicación fue muy rápida y siempre con ganas de ayudar. Llegamos antes a Lisboa y nos permitió guardar las maletas, lo cual agradecemos mucho. En resumen, si vuelvo a Lisboa, definitivamente volvería a hospedarme con Pedro. Nota importante: la ducha es un poco pequeña; después de eso, todo excelente.

Great family apartment with everything you need for a longer stay. There are heaters in every room, so the apartment can be heated during colder months. CD collection, TV and toys are excellent for rainy days. Great choice of local and international cafes and restaurants nearby, plus grocery stores and a playground. Nearby bus stops and metro stations give you options to go anywhere. Friendly host to help with everything.

Staying at Juan’s place was perfect in many ways. Juan made us feel very welcome and his place is charming. I can’t imagine a better location - next to the castle in old town; it was a convenient spot for shopping, day treks around the city, and transportation from the airport and to Porto. (Thanks so much, Juan)!

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Merci Maria pour ce séjour. Appartement avec garage très pratique pour laisser sa voiture. Le quartier est un peu excentré de Lisbonne mais centre accessible en 30min via taxi.

Sofia was a very proactive and friendly host. All key information were promptly provided days prior to check-in. Easy self-access with the instructions provided. Rooms were ready and property was clean by the time we arrived. It is a 10-20 minutes commute to certain shops at late hours, however, the privacy is worth its keep. There is supermarket super close by, for us was unfortunate due to the time we would arrive everyday at the property meant they were always closed, but those seeking a holiday, that would be no issue. Lovely spacious living room with doors that you see straight out to the swimming pool. As we were there mainly for business purposes, we did not manage to have usage of certain available amenities - but worth to those coming in for a holiday. Sofia was also always efficient in responding, regardless of time (unethical on my part to message pas midnight) nonetheless, she would respond right away. Beautiful home and an amazing host.

En la misma finca está la casa de la anfitriona y la casa de invitados pero ambos independientes (solo se comparte la salida de la finca). La casa se corresponde totalmente con lo anunciado. Nos alojamos en Año Nuevo y, por lo tanto, no utilizamos la piscina pero estaba disponible e hizo muy agradable la visión desde el salón. El salón realmente es el porche de la casa de invitados. En invierno está cerrado con unas persianas transparentes de plástico y el espacio se aclimata con la estufa y un calefactor. Es un espacio un poco frio pero si te sientas junto a la estufa y con una manta te puedes tomar un buen vinho verde. 😉 La casa está ubicada en una zona elevada, tranquila y puedes aparcar en la puerta. Puedes ir andando hasta el centro de Sintra en solo 30 minutos, o acercarte en coche (10 minutos) y pagar un ticket de ORA por 13 euros para todo el día. En coche solo tardas 20 minutos a Lisboa o Cascais. La anfitriona siempre estuvo atenta y nos ayudó en todo. Gracias. 🙂

Renata is a wonderful host, she is friendly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Highly Recommended.

War eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und für zwei Familien Ideal

The place was very quiet, with a nice garden area. We didn’t even feel that the owner’s family was living upstairs, since we didn’t hear any noise at all. We had all the amenities needed, and slept very well in comfy beds. The fact that we were allowed to use the parking inside the house was very handy. The communication with Angelina was very easy and she responded promptly to our questions. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice quiet neighborhood, with easy access to Lisbon and Cascais/Sintra areas.

Wir hatten trotz Regenwetter eine tolle, erholsame Zeit bei Lurdes. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und mit super Sightseeing und Restaurant Tipps versorgt. Elisabeth war immer für uns erreichbar und reagierte sehr schnell. Der Meerblick von der Terrasse ist großartig! Der in der Nähe liegende Strand (wir würden ein Auto empfehlen) hat tolle Bars und klares Wasser. Das Haus ist sauber und wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Vielen Dank!

We had a wonderful week here! Our 5 year old loved the climbing frame, extra toys and of course the heated swimming pool. We loved the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings and the view. The house is extremely comfortable and we were made to feel at home right away after a lovely welcome and tour to help us get settled. The fantastic beds (hotel quality) and blackout blinds meant that we all slept really well, especially after long, active days. All of the facilities were of very high quality. The area is beautiful with a range of different beaches to choose from, as well as trips to Lisbon and Sintra easily possible, and the nearby mountains as well. There was also the convenience of a lovely bakery and mini supermarket very close by, as well as fantastic restaurants on the local beaches. A great place to stay, wonderful hosts and a fantastic area. We would highly recommend!!

Stort og dejligt hus, der indeholder alt, hvad man skal bruge! Og Carla kommer med en masse gode anbefalinger til oplevelser og spisesteder. Vi var afsted med vores to drenge på 7 og 10 år og havde besøg af et sæt bedsteforældre et par dage - og der var masser af plads :-) Virkelig veludstyret køkken, og der var også krydderier, så der kunne laves en masse lækker mad. Fantastiske senge, som man sov perfekt i - også køjesengene. Derudover var det skønt med pladsen rundt om huset - vi spillede lidt bold på græssiden, og der var et bordtennissæt, som vi også brugte flittigt hele familien. Skøn størrelse pool, som sikkert er lækkert om sommeren (lige koldt nok for os, da vi ikke havde det bedste vejr i april). Fint placeret, da man hurtigt kan komme til 25. april broen, som fører ind til Lissabon. Og der ligger en bager med lækkert morgenbrød 5 minutters gågang fra huset. Husk hjemmesko eller tykke strømper, da der kan være lidt fodkoldt - dem husker vi næste gang, vi kommer :-)

We spent a wonderful time at Cristina's beautiful house. There is a lot to explore in the neighbourhood - very nice beaches, beautiful views at the oceans, close to Sesimbra and Lisabon - a perfect stay for some days. The house was very convenient for a family with two teenagers. They had their own rooms and separate bath. It is very nicely furnished and has very private touch, which we very much liked. Cristina's parents welcomed us and gave us helfpul advices on the area. She was very responsive whenever we had a problem. I can highly recommend Cristina's place and would are considering coming back in summer time.
