We had a great week at Luis' apartment, who is an amazing host, very kind and with great tips! The fact that he speaks French is really a plus and facilitates interactions. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. The 2 terraces are very pleasant, with beautiful views of the pantheon and the Tagus. The apartment is functional, the kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The building is a little off-center, which allows you to be quiet (a real plus) and everything is within walking distance without difficulty. If you take the plane, favor Uber over the metro because Uber doesn't really cost much there (we left during the train strike and Uber was a valuable ally to rally Belem or Sintra). Some good restaurants around the apartment, just a few minutes' walk. We recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic spot, 2 minutes walk to the beach, super peaceful location. The appartement is in pristine comdition and is equiped with everything one might need. The owner is a super friendly and helpfull host. It was a pleasure to spend these days there.

We stayed in Ricardo's apartment for the third time. He completely renovated the apartment this year and installed a brand new kitchen and laid new flooring. The electrical appliances in the kitchen are also new. The roof terrace is beautiful. In the evening, you can relax beautifully in the hot tub. The apartment is in a great location for sightseeing in the city. Next door is the Lidl supermarket and in the same building an Auchan where you can perfectly take care of yourself and grill on the existing roof terrace. A big plus and extremely rare is the underground garage with a parking space for the car for excursions. There are no outdoor parking spaces in Lisbon and that is why there is a parking space in the underground garage. Perfect.

We found Ricardo's place after being abandoned by our previous host 20 mins after touching down in Lisbon. And it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Ricardo is the most empathetic and genuine hosts out there. We explained our situation to him and he ensured that he will get his apartment ready in time(despite having errands to run.) He even came till the bus stop to pick us up and helped us carry our bags to the apartment. Despite having very little time to set up the apartment we were welcomed with a bottle of wine, a handmade fridge magnet and a post card. Quite possibly our best check in experience ever. The apartment itself is beautiful and cosy and massive props for the outdoor garden that gave us lots of sunlight to soak in. From a location POV the apartment is close to the Roma Arerrio station which is great for day trips to Sintra and other towns as well as for local travel. All in all we loved our stay at Ricardo and Patricia's place.

This apartment was centrally located and close to good restaurants and shopping. Our favorite breakfast spot was just up the steps behind our place. It was located on a busy street but it quieted down at night and we had no trouble sleeping. They had black out shades on the bedroom windows which was an unexpected pleasant surprise. Our host Vitor was so friendly and kind. He was responsive and helpful when I realized I had left my watch in the Airbnb after we checked out. He had it mailed out to me that day. I would definitely stay there again.

What a wonderful place, what wonderful people, what a place and wonderful location. Silencio, tranquility, cozy. Dna Ricarda and his Mother Dna Jacinta. Next to it had a wonderful lunch at the Recreational Society, and there we met the managers of the place, Ana and Sandra. Wonderful service and wonderful food. I remembered my grandfather for the food he served. Note 1000.

Very well prepared, clean and comfortable, we all felt very safe in this location. 25 minute walk from downtown! Included all essentials for bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. We loved our stay!

We had some great days at Blessing Beach House. Everything you need is there and the evenings by the pool and barbecue were very relaxed. The house is very spacious and we had enough space and space. 5 minutes away is a large beach with great restaurants and high waves. In 15 minutes you are on the other side of the Cape in Sesimbra (less wind and waves). Particularly noteworthy is that Mariana's dad came by regularly in the morning and checked the water quality.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Maria's house is very nicely furnished and very clean. We felt very comfortable. We had everything we needed on site. Maria welcomed us personally and gave us great recommendations for the surrounding area. She ist very friendly! The house is in a quiet location and in just a few minutes by car you can be on the picturesque coast with breathtaking views of the sea. A visit is highly recommended!

Everything about our stay was great. We had a friendly welcome with great recommendations. We even loved enough to stay again. The location, host, atmosphere were amazing. I can’t say enough about our host. He went above and beyond for us. It was a home away from home. Our experience was such that we even asked for info on relocation. We will definitely be back. Perfect stay for my husband and I.

Very comfortable and spacious place, well decorated, definitely get a “homey” feel and perfect for a group of 4 with lots of luggage! The view to Lisbon from the terrace was gorgeous. Nice pool as well. Located in one of the preferred neighborhoods of Lisbon accessible to everything needed. Since we rented a car, I loved the private, secured parking garage connected to the place! A must if driving considering parking limitations in Lisbon!

Paolo made our stay very enjoyable. He is the best host. Super responsive and went above and beyond to get us into the apt early. Great location-extremely close to everything. Very walkable and convenient. Great space for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms and a very large comfortable living room. And if you are a tv person-biggest tv I’ve ever seen. Thank you Paolo for your graciousness, friendliness and all your recommendations. Also extra shoutout to Luan who checked us in at the property-super nice person and graciously came extremely early well ahead of check in time to accommodate our group. I can’t wait to come back.

Maria was the best host and offered exceptional hospitality during check-in with an infant. The place was walking distance to a nearby center with food and 20 minutes from the main center that home was clean and beautiful and we enjoyed our stay.

Located on a slope not far from Liberty Avenue, the room has a small balcony in front and back, the view is pleasant when the weather is good, the room is fully equipped, very comfortable! Although the sound of walking upstairs is a little obvious, because the building itself is a little old (which is one of the charms of this house), I personally am not affected and sleep well, sensitive people can bring their own earplugs ~ The owner is very nice, proactively providing information about nearby food and coffee shops, etc. We actually visited and liked it very much. Overall, it's a great living experience!

Carlos' place was very spacious and had everything my family needed. The location was very convenient for us as you can enter the building from the main street rather than having to walk further into the Alfama streets. The place is also beside some really excellent restaurants!

Everything was wonderful, the location, the accommodation and the host. Ling was very kind at all times, giving very useful recommendations. When we return to Lisbon, we will definitely repeat.

Staying at Heinz's place was like “being at home.” In more than two months of stay, I appreciated the comfort of a large, comfortable house with a private garden!! Corroios is a quiet town but offers all the services. It may seem far from the center but, trust it is among the most connected in Margem Sul! You'll be spoiled for choice in which way to use! The Fertagus, a 10-minute walk (2 minutes by tram) takes you to Lisbon by passing the 25 de Abril Bridge. My favorite way was the tram (directly under the house, at all times, every 7-9 minutes - Casa do Povo station). When you arrive in Cacilhas (which I loved for the evocative sunsets at the Final Bridge) ferry to Cais do Sodré, and in less than 10 minutes you will be in the heart of Lisbon! Discovering the surroundings of Corroios (Almada, Costa da Caparica, Setubàl) has also allowed me to experience the least touristy part of Portugal, the one that made me fall in love with this country! Go to Heinz's place, you won't regret it.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
