Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Coronado

My family and I were very excited because we were traveling to SD to meet my biological father for the first time since finding him almost 3 years ago. We chose Shawn's BnB because we instantly fell in love with the shaded and secluded backyard. We enjoyed our stay and it served as a great place to chill out, relax, and get to know my dad while playing a few card/board games. The cheery on top was the fabulous weekend weather, which was 40+ degrees cooler than our home in Phoenix, AZ.

Great place and very clean upon arrival. I enjoyed my stay and it was very close to the beach! The host was very attentive and responsive.

Right when we got to the house, it just felt right at home. The kitchen had everything you need that you can cook which is what we did the first night! The hot tub was amazing, and the living room was great to watch tv and have your dogs near you while you’re relaxing. When you’re going to sleep, the beds and the pillows were amazing to lay down while you’re watching tv as well. Everything was home feeling and that’s exactly what we needed! Thank you Clinton! I will come back here again.

Great location and beautiful home! We stayed her for the San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon. It was quiet enough to get a good nights sleep the night before which was great for a Saturday night. It was also walkable to great night life, breweries and restaurants. Parking was a bit difficult for our second car but that could have been due to the marathon being in town. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was great and had lots of accommodations. While the on-site parking was wonderful, it can be challenging to get into the spot when other cars are parked in the alley. Very pet friendly area for your furry friend.

Lisa and Menotti have a beautiful beach escape that was perfect for our small group celebrating a birthday. The sliding door and balcony were beautiful and such a nice feature to let in the beach breeze. The house was pristine, comfortable, and so well designed. All amenities you would need. The hosts were super responsive and helpful and accommodated a late check out which allowed us to wake up early and check out low tide in the morning! Definitely will stay again.

An amazing vacation spot for a group of 4-6 to unwind after a day in sunny California. The neighborhood is overall welcoming with delicious food options and a convenience store. I did walk by myself to a nearby taco truck (delicious!) multiple times without feeling unsafe, but be aware I did run into a couple individuals who appeared to be on drugs. Fortunately, they just mumbled hellos and kept walking. The host is great, proactive, and VERY responsive if you need anything. I would definitely stay here again!

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

Stay at Katri’s was great. Had delicious cookies waiting for us when we checked in, which was a breeze. House was spacious and entire lot was very big. Pool was great and even after we had told them that no heated pool would be necessary, Mother Nature had a different idea and gave us some more than unexpected chilly weather, so they had no problem throwing the heater on for us. Freeway in the background was hardly a noise problem for us personally. Just far enough that it didn’t affect us, and was nice to see what our morning commute was going to be like. Brought two dogs with the group that absolutely loved everything (after one of them finally got over his fear of the staircase). All in all a great stay in a great neighborhood. Cant comment more how quickly they responded to us in the days leading up to the trip, and while we were there. Great hosts!

We needed a place for 3 adults Sydnie’s place was so great from the first time I messaged Sydnie she helped me with local recommendation’s for restaurants/groceries/stores she sent me all the info I messed to make our stay wonderful. The house was everything that was shown. I would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely will be back.

Quiet location, exactly as pictured and described. Parking could be a challenge if you have a large vehicle but being able to park in the garage made it easier. Great communication!

This is our third time staying here and it gets better and better every time! Literally spent the whole trip on the property with so many activities which the kids loved. Last time we used it as a place to stay when we went to Legoland and it was tough getting the kids to leave! My daughter's favorite host was Kelsey and my son's favorite is Riley. My buddy is Calvin the Alpaca. A perfect getaway and Heather and her family are super welcoming and attentive to any needs. Can't wait for the next visit!

We loved staying at Wil’s place. The place was amazing, cozy and everything we wanted for our family. We loved the aesthetic, and the pool was so fun to play in. It was quiet but close to everything we wanted to do, so it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day out. The host and hostess were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Cute and cozy, walking distance to plenty! Great option for family or friends visiting someone who lives in the area.

My wife and I enjoyed staying in “The Loft” guesthouse. It was clean, cheerful and located in a quiet neighborhood. The host is friendly and responded quickly to questions. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom is large and well stocked with towels and washcloths. The guesthouse was located close to shopping, restaurants, and major San Diego attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed. We recommend The Loft for your stay in San Diego.

Absolutely love love love this small yet mighty place!! I was impressed! It was so cute and clean! The shower was amazing! The bed was comfortable and the back yard was great for my dog. The hot tub was a great addition to the place. Nice way to chill out after a long day of adventuring! I love the washer and dryer! I felt right at home! Kevin and his spouse were the nicest ever! They are quick to respond. They are so accommodating. I had car problems and they recommended a great car shop for me in the neighborhood! I would definitely stay again and look forward to coming back to San Diego! Thank you sooo sooo much for your hospitality! You are an amazing host! Loved everything about it!

Our stay in Bird Rock was amazing. This rental was exactly what we were looking for. Super accessible to everything we needed. Short drive to beaches and restaurants (if you want to go further into La Jolla). Plentiful coffee, pastries, açaí bowls all around. It was great spending mornings on the roof top patio drinking our coffee and planning the day. 10/10 would stay again. Thanks Matt!

Great location! The place was nice and was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. Travis was very responsive when we got locked out of the garage and came right away to fix the issue. So close to all the restaurants and bars!

We had a fabulous time at the Granny Flat! Everything was pristine and Kristen has thought of every amenity. She was kind and responsive. We loved the peaceful backyard with gorgeous views. The location is super convenient and a max of 25-30 mins to anywhere else in the SD area. Our pups had a great time, too! Would love to stay here again!

This place was perfect in every way. Staying on the vineyard was luxurious and relaxing. When you turn off the main highway, you know you entering somewhere special. Everyone in the area is involved in agriculture. There is a diverse variety of mostly small farms. The tiny house was really fun and private. It has everything you need on a small scale, yet it feels very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the giant windows by the bed. You open the windows in the morning and you are about 10 feet from grape vines. At night and in the morning, you can hear the birds on the farm. It is very quiet with the windows closed, but we kept them open because I like the animal sounds. At night, the grounds are teaming with the sounds of life. This isn’t the four seasons, and it doesn’t try to be. I have never stayed somewhere like this before, but I loved every aspect of it. I will stay here again and it was a good price. I know it is a little different, but give it a shot, it is amazing
