Property was as described. Host was very responsive and helped us get into house upon arrival. Place was clean, comfortable and pleasant. We enjoyed our short stay.

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. Our family had a great stay and would definitely stay there on our next visit. The house was clean and comfortable and Millie was responsive and very helpful. The location is great and we didn’t have to drive our car for two days. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach are an enjoyable walk from the rental. Step out the back gate and you are across the street from dog beach, where our dog enjoyed meeting new friends, the beach sand, and the ocean. A very relaxing few days, that were very much needed. I highly recommend.

This Airbnb has everything that you could possibly need and while it is a studio, it's actually roomy. There's a large, very comfortable king-size bed, but it doesn't feel like it takes up a lot of space. The couch is a pull-out bed as well, and it’s long enough to for somebody that's 5'6” or smaller to be able to sleep on it. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including ice cube trays and a light underneath the microwave. So, it feels homey. There's a bar that has five chairs facing the strandway where you can see the glimpses of the ocean. There are plenty of plugs for gadgets. There's a closet that has all kinds of linens. Anything you could possibly need from extra blankets to extra pillows, extra towels. In the kids' room, there are bunk beds that are large enough for an adult to sleep on the bottom (5’6” or shorter). The bathroom is has nice lighting and a window that opens up the street. The patio outside has plenty of space for two to three people to sit.

We initially planned to stay in Leucadia for a week but decided to extend our stay for a full second week because we loved this place so much. The location is absolutely perfect. We walked to the Beacons beach to surf every day and had our pick of all the best restaurants on the 101 (highly recommend Birdseye Kitchen). The house itself is cozy and surprisingly private for a place on the 101. It helped to have laundry on site and Chris was responsive throughout our visit. The house isn't as well stocked as a lot of air bnbs (no wine glasses, coffee, ice cube trays, etc.) but you will probably want to eat out most of your stay anyway because there are so many great places within walking distance. We definitely plan to come back and highly recommend this charming little nook in Leucadia! Excellent cost for value.

Our family had a wonderful family beach vacation in La Jolla. Niloofar’s flat was clean and exactly as described. Great restaurants and shops within walking distance, and, of course, La Jolla Shores Beach is amazing and super close. I don’t think we could’ve even found a parking spot as close! Wonderful accommodations overall, I feel like they thought of everything you could need. Clean and updated is a huge plus for us. We hope we can stay again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. My partner enjoyed all the amenities and relaxing near the beach was perfect for our get away. The staff was friendly and showed us great stores and restaurants to go to. Would definitely book again.

The apartment was so close to all the restaurants and easy to get to anywhere within around 15 minutes drive. Tina was an amazing host and on hand to answer any questions.

Such an amazing place! My husband and I have been meeting up with our friends for 6 years now and this is the first time a kid has joined us. My son loved the beach and it was so nice to be so close and to have our own space but to also be able to walk to restaurants and things around. Kiran was so kind and was able to answer any questions we had very quick. We’ve already talked about going again!!

Awesome place on the beach! Being able to open the screen doors to feel the breeze and hear the ocean made us excited to come back from exploring the area. Easy to get to the car in/out when needed. Beach access directly at the bottom of the apartment, using all the provided beach accessories Nick provided in the well equipped apartment. Plenty of bars and restaurants walkable, or even stores to grab a bottle of wine to stay in. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and I would definitely book again for our next San Diego trip.

Our family had a wonderful time , from amazing views wonderful sunrises and sunsets such a beautiful place with so much room and space for everyone to spend around the home it was wonderful but the Master Bedroom restroom was beyond our expectations! We loved everything about this home can’t wait to come back again 😊! Felt so safe and secure being a gated community with guards at the gate can’t get any better than that !

We loved the condo - the view was amazing! It has a large living area and super comfortable couch. The large ocean front bedroom was great - we listened to the waves all night. First time to Solana Beach - liked being able to walk to restaurants (Rustic Root), farmers market, and the dog beach. The kitchen had everything we needed. Richard called us to make sure we were able to get in. The condo has electric mobile heaters - it was a bit cold/rainy for a few days, but we were able to get the area warm. We would come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb right on Mission Beach! The location couldn’t be better, just steps from the sand and perfect for a relaxing, chill vibe. The house was super clean, beautifully decorated, and very kid-friendly, which made it perfect for our family. The host, Evan was incredibly accommodating, even with some last-minute changes we had. He checked in to see if we needed anything and was always responsive and kind throughout our stay. We really appreciated the great communication and hospitality. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed are time at the beach house. It was a great location and very close to every where we wanted to go. It is absolutely a beautiful place to stay with family.

great and friendly host. responded promptly. unit is cleaned and organized. location is few minutes walking distance from the beach ( almost like a private beach ) since it was located in the neighborhood. supermarket is on the Main Street and only a minute walk. Overall, would definitely book again in the future. couldn't ask for more .

If you are looking for a place in La Jolla, that is near great restaurants, shopping and a quick walk to the Cove and waterfront. This is your place. It is very affordable, especially considering how outrageously expensive real estate is in this area. We were able to walk togreat restaurants and to the waterfront in minutes. There is a very nice grocery. That’s about a 10 minute walk as well. When we return to La Jolla, we are very likely stay in this same apartment.

This is my second stay, with my son, and it was great! We had a great time, great place to stay, great communication, great recommendations. We absolutely love it here! The warm outdoor shower and the view is the best!! Thank you for the great stay, as always! we hope to be back soon!

Casa de Las Olas is an absolute gem. It has nine skylights offering abundant light, views of the ocean so close you can see seals playing in the waves, and a sanctuary of home in an otherwise bustling coastal town. The location is phenomenal, along the coastal walk area of San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and Ecological Reserve, with equal distance to wildlife sightings, dining, art galleries, and shops. Additional highlights include dual shower heads, a fireplace to warm the cooler coastal evenings and mornings, elevated ceilings, and all the unique character of a renovated cottage. It is the perfect size and location for solo travelers such as myself.

This place was an absolute gem. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being able to walk everywhere made our stay so relaxing. It's the kind of spot where the beach feels like your backyard and adventure is always just around the corner. Falling asleep to the ocean breeze was pure magic. All in all, a fantastic escape — we’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

Glenna and Bill were as wonderful as their home. Spacious 3br for the bayfront! Truly, on the water, and with four little kids it was so nice to have the beach out your front door. Their patio is also one of the best on the bay with ample space and seating. We enjoyed meals out there and sitting back in the rocking chairs after tucking the kids in.
