Vacation rentals with a pool in Conques-sur-Orbiel

Excellent séjour dans cet appartement! Nous avons été accueillis par des amis de l’hôte qui ont été très agréables et chaleureux. L’appartement est très fonctionnel, avec tout le nécessaire. La décoration est très jolie, les chambres spacieuses et la literie confortable. Tout était propre à notre arrivée. La place de parking est super, et nous sommes à proximité de la cité (5 min en voiture). Nous recommandons fortement ce logement pour quelques nuits ou plus ! Merci beaucoup ☺️

We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

We loved our stay at this stunning villa. It is set on a hillside overlooking the village and with wonderful views across the valley to the pyrenees beyond (although the winds in September made it feel a bit colder than the actual temperature was). The accommodation was super spacious with 3 double bedrooms (1 with ensuite), a comfy open-plan lounge, separate dining area and kitchen area. Outside is an unheated swimming pool, terrace area and covered (pergola) seating area with outside dining as well as a large gravelled parking area. The town of Lagrasse is beautiful and typically french, with several restaurants and pavement cafes as well as some small gift shops and patisserie. It is approx 45 minutes drive from Carcassonne. The overall feel is of a relaxed and peaceful holiday destination and an ideal place for unwinding with friends over a bottle or two of wine. Thanks Graham & Jeanne, we loved it

We are a family of 5, (kids age 12, 9 & 6) and we all loved Graham's place. The building is lovely and the view is stunning. It is very family friendly, Graham has thought of even the small details for little children. Graham is a very responsive host, and just at the other end of the phone eager to help. We loved walking around Graham's place, playing in the park, playing games of table tennis, swimming in the pool (which was heated), talking to the cats, particularly Bella who followed us around the first couple of days. Graham then pointed out another walk at his place down to the river past a tyre swing which we enjoyed. It really is an amazing place. We payed a visit to Gorge D'heric which is just wow. So beautiful. Went to the bakery in Riols a couple of times...definitely recommend. Had a couple of days out to Carcossone and the Millau Viaduct. Loved driving through the little French villages, they are very pretty. A great quiet and rural stay away from all the hustle and bustle

A Wonderful Stay in a Peaceful Nature Retreat We had an amazing time staying at this clean and cozy house located in a quiet, beautiful area surrounded by nature and birdsong. Every day was a pleasure for our family. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the jacuzzi, grilled delicious meals, played board games, and even had fun playing tennis at a nearby court. In the evenings, we relaxed with Netflix. The kitchen is well-equipped, and my wife loved cooking here—especially with the air fryer, which became an essential helper during our stay. There are lovely walking trails nearby, and the charming town of Carcassonne is just a short drive away. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the fresh, floral air in a truly peaceful setting.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, Catherine et son mari nous ont donné de bons conseils sur la region, et nous passé un excellent séjour. La location est bien équipée, au calme, et est un très bon point de départ pour de nombreuses visites. La piscine est juste parfaite !

Un endroit très charmant, une hôte parfaite. Appartement irréprochable, très propre, tout le nécessaire à disposition nous avons manqué de rien. La piscine, le gros + pour se rafraichir et se reposer dans ce beau jardin. Nous recommandons cet endroit. Merci pour votre accueil. Le seul petit bémol, nous avons eu très chaud pour la nuit.

We hebben een geweldige zomervakantie gehad in het huis van Jan. Met twee families (vier volwassenen en vier kinderen) verbleven we twee weken in Velieux en het was heerlijk. Het huis is groot en prettig ingericht. Een echt familiehuis. Met schitterend weer waren we vooral buiten. Het zwembad is heerlijk, met genoeg ligbedden en schaduw. En een duikplank 😁 De "game room" was een hit om even stoom af te blazen met dart, biljart, tafeltennis of de gym. En alle maaltijden buiten op een van de terrassen. De omgeving hebben we uitgebreid verkend, er was zoveel te doen. Leuke steden als Beziers, Narbonne, Minerve en Carcassonne. Grotten, een klimpark, mooie zandstranden. En veel wijn! Het is allemaal even rijden, maar de landschappen zijn prachtig dus rijden is goed te doen. Bovendien is het vakantie, dus tijd zat. Jan en zijn vrouw zijn erg behulpzaam en hebben vele tips voor de omgeving. Ze wonen naast het huis, en zijn er als je ze nodig hebt. De kinderen waren helemaal weg van hen.
