Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Colwood

We had an amazing stay at the Otter Point Farm. The house was gorgeous, with beautiful views of forest and fields. We loved watching the sheep every morning. The house was so clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Our favorite part of the house was the amazing outdoor hot tub.

Gerry was as excellent of a host as they come! He met us upon arrival to help us find the house. He was very flexible even though we were running later than we thought due to the ferry. The house is amazing - so clean, updated and comfortable. And it has all the comforts of home that you would need. He goes above and beyond, and we will definitely stay there again!

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Michelle’s place was great for our family of 7 and 3 dogs! All the space you need to relax and enjoy Sooke! Very comfortable and convenient location

We had originally booked this home for May 2024 but we had to cancel last minute because of a passport mess-up. Josie was kind enough to credit us the stay and let us reschedule. Once we arrived, our jaws dropped. The photos don’t do justice how stunning this space is. I leapt around the first 24 hours because I was so thrilled to be there with my friends, celebrating life. The beds are a dream, the forest is enchanting and we could not get enough of the outdoor shower/sauna experience. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

What a slice of heaven! It was even better than the pictures! We thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights here (wishing it was longer) with our 18&21 year olds. There was plenty of space for us to gather as a fam or find a chill out spot alone. Allison and Sean were great with communication and giving advice for good hiking trails too! We would love to one day return!

Our Family stayed In Deborah’s beautiful home for the weekend. It was a great place to reconnect and hang out. The view is spectacular, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We hope that we will be able to come and stay again.

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Quiet place with a beautiful view of Shawnigan Lake. The suite was very comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

It was a pleasure to stay in such an amazing and beautiful place. The property is literally right on the beach, offering an incredible view of the lake and surrounded by forest. There are plenty of activities available: brand-new kayaks, swimming in the lake, hiking, basketball, tennis, and more. Shops are within walking distance. Everything was perfect, especially the friendly, home-like hosting. The property has everything you could need — and even more! We will definitely come back in the summer!! Excellent place!

We loved this space it was perfect for us while we were attending a hockey event at shawnigan lake school. It is minutes away from the school and you could even walk if you wanted to. The hosts were accommodating and the space was well put together.

Shannon went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable after a long drive! Responsive when we had any questions. Liam was great with communication as well. This cabin we didn’t want to leave, it’s so cozy and has more than you need for a relaxing peaceful getaway, fire pit outside, hot tub, fire inside, we will be back, walk to Kinsol Trestle bridge, close drive to lake. We enjoyed our time here while we explored Sooke and Victoria on our Spring Break! We especially enjoyed the fire place and tv in the evenings!

This place was unreal. From the moment we arrived we knew we had found a gem of a property. We did not want to leave at all! Well equipped, beautiful view, and amazing hosts. We had trouble getting the playoff hockey game in and James was there super quick to help! Had a lovely chat with his parents. Super comfy beds, beautiful kitchen. We will absolutely be back. Shawnigan Lake stole our hearts! Thank you so much!

Had an amazing time with some friends and family. This wasn't our first stay at this Airbnb and won't be our last. We love this spot. It's so handy being in-between Jordan river and Sooke. The hikes and beaches nearby are great the house is so spacious, scenic, and wonderful to stay at.

I took my daughter and 3 of her friends for a birthday celebration and they enjoyed the swimming hole and sauna. It was a great sleeping set up for them. And with being so remote, it truly felt like a far away adventure. Being from salt spring, we are more prepared for rustic. For anyone that’s not as used to rustic, then it might be a bit of an adjustment. The view is gorgeous. And we had a great time. Great chats with Roman as well. Thanks!

Candice and JS’s cabin is perfect. Nestled in a private spot in the woods just off the main highway it is a fantastic getaway on the wild coast of VI. We loved the cabin and barbecued each day after hiking to Mystic Beach and driving the coastline exploring beaches and then settled in for a bottle of wine and DVD from their collection. Whilst luxury and cabin in the woods may not seem to be a natural match, Candice and JS provide this brilliant combination!

The cabin is simply awesome. It has beautiful surroundings and incredible design: modern, stylish and cozy. The cedar hot tub is a great bonus. Matt provided all the information needed in advance, he was very nice and helpful. Hope we can come back soon.
