A lovely apartment, very well equipped. Smart and comfortable and easy stroll into hawkshead. Buses very handy too for coniston & Ambleside.

Homely, well equipped and spacious cottage in the centre of Hawkshead. Easy permit car parking within the village. Lovely welcoming touches with milk, tea & coffee and even treats for our dog. A wonderful place to stay in a great location.

Cottage is right in the centre of Hawkeshead village making it a short walk to the pubs and restaurant. The village is so small that it is also a short walk or bike ride into the Countryside. This is an old cottage which gives it character but if you are 6ft or taller don’t forget to duck through the doorways. Cottage was clean and everything that we expected was provided and worked making for a trouble free holiday. Recommended. We will be booking it again.
