The Gardner’s Shed is self-contained with access through our well kept garden. In the heart of picturesque Hawkshead, The Roost, a delightful cottage within a short walk of all village amenities. The open plan 3-bedroom 2-bathroom cottage sleeps up to 6 and welcomes pets. It’s an all-year all-round delight, ideal for families or small groups. Guests can explore the countryside, browse the shops and sample local cuisine in village pubs. In the evenings cosy up with a movie on the 48” TV in front of the fire, play a game of pool or enjoy a glass of wine as the sun sets.

It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.
