Julia and Mike were the perfect hosts—we absolutely loved our time on the farm! From the warm, super-cute and spotless sleeping cabin to the well-equipped kitchen and washroom, everything was just right. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our rustic wine-country getaway. Waking up to coffee and the horses in the field was absolutely stunning—it added such a peaceful touch to our mornings. Don’t let the short walk to the washroom stop you—it’s really not far at all. We biked to nearby wineries, cideries, and the local pub—so much fun! Our little pug, Jeannie, had a blast too; it’s such a dog-friendly space. We’re already planning our next trip back—can’t wait!

We had the pleasure of spending four weeks at David’s place. It was in a perfect location, central to all things in the area, a safe and quiet neighbourhood for walking with our dog, and to the outdoor pickleball courts at Kerry Park. Beautifully appointed, many special small touches like fresh coffee beans and a grinder, and local treats to try. We appreciated the great internet, and Dave’s responsiveness to our questions. The desk was terrific for our jigsaw, and the great room was perfect for two. We valued the peace and quiet - the absence of noise transfer from above and the babbling of the creek to ease us to sleep (with a comfy bed and beautiful linens). The Sauna was a bonus - spring was cool, but we were quickly warmed by its heat. While access to the suite was not difficult, there are steps, and some may be challenged by the slope. We miss it already, and look forward to returning to the area. Thank you for sharing your home!

It's a lovely cottage that provides everything you need. Especially the spa area is just breathtaking. It's located in a quite, lovely area and a good spot to discover the whole Cowichan Valley from Victoria up to Nanaimo and Lake Cowichan (highly recommended for hikes and don't miss the elks at Youbou :), although it's recommended to have a car to explore the area. All in all fully recommendable. Thanks Matt for having us.

Lovely modern newly refurbished (I assume). All clean. Very well appointed with the kitchen bedrooms and bathroom. And there was coffee and tea, shampoo and soaps …you didn’t need to take anything apart from clothes! Thank you very much Russ
