I booked this accommodation for colleagues working in the area and the location was perfect. Sharon's place is lovely and provides all the home comforts needed when working away from home. She is an excellent host and communicator. I've booked with her before and will again if we're back in the area.

Great place to stay for a family holiday over the Easter weekend. Accommodation was clean and well equipped with an absolutely stellar view. Be aware the property is on a busy main road so bit of road noise and not easy to walk into Ambleside. Didn’t affect our holiday, which was excellent, but something to consider. All in all cannot praise Laik and Halfway House highly enough. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay with everything we needed for a full week. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely outside space. It is a short, flat walk to Ambleside which was perfect for children. Thank you for a great week.
