Excellent accommodation and excellent host. Personalized service. He took the time to advise us on places to visit and to teach us about the neighborhood and its history.

Stay for 2 adults and 2 children for 5 days, it was perfect! Carmen is very friendly and responsive. She found a solution to get a stroller for our little one. The accommodation is clean and pleasant with a covered balcony at the front that allows you to enjoy the atmosphere of the street and a large half-covered terrace at the back that provides a little coolness (especially in the morning). The kitchen is well-equipped and there is the possibility to wash your clothes. Wifi is working well. The location is ideal because we wanted to visit the colonial district while staying in a real neighborhood, away from tourist hotels. So there's the noise of the city (horns, mopeds) and all the authenticity of a neighborhood that's alive. There are also many shops: small supermarket just opposite, pharmacy, money dispenser, independence park, fire station (possible to visit), supermercado, Calle El Conde. Ideal for visiting and experiencing the real Santo Domingo safely.

Very responsive and awesome host. Was greeted by his mom and another family member. Nicest family you would ever meet and I appreciate them letting me use their place. Great location as it's close to the colonial zone and Malecon areas. Will definitely use again.
