Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chippewa County

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

This place was adorable, clean and right next to the snowmobile trail. It was perfect for our snowmobiling crew. Julia was very responsive when we reached out to her. The driveway was plowed as needed without us even asking. And, because our dogs love vacationing with us, it is great that it is pet-friendly🐾❤️

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

My kids and I felt right at home at this location. It was clean and comfy with everything needed. The washer and dryer was a huge plus!!!

Great place to stay for exploring the area. We were there in early April, when we were snowed in during a freak frozen rain storm. The roads were sheets of ice and our car was covered in two inch layer of ice. Unable to drive for about a week, the hosts checked in on us to make sure we were okay and had supplies. The home was cozy and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Long live Yoopers!

Sarah and Walter are excellent hosts!!! We loved all the treats from local shops. They supplied us with more than enough extras and made us feel very special. We had a wonderful stay in the winter wonderland of Trout Lake. Sarah and Walter even came out to snow blow the driveway and check in on us during our extended stay. We never lost power during a once in a lifetime ice/snow storm. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!!

This place looks a little odd from the outside but it is very cool inside! It was well stocked and super clean and the nice backyard with deer and fox running around was magical. The driveway was pure mud but we hit the spring thaw and that is to be expected. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

Nice and quiet neighborhood!

Great cozy and comfortable apartment. Small kitchen but was perfect to cook some quick meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and even had a fan in one bedroom. I was also nice to have the laundry available. Allison was quick to respond and worked with us to extend our stay due to an ice storm. It was a great place to decompress after long days at a conference.

I stayed for over a month and it was great! It is exactly as described- small but very nice and it has a really spacious bathroom and lots of room for all my things in the closets. It had everything I needed and is in a good location. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Nice place for a few people. Not requiring us to do much when we left besides locking the door was nice. Not having to worry about making the place spotless upon leaving was far less stress inducing.

Edmond’s place is actually even better than expected. It’s bigger in real time than the photos show. It is very comfortable and so quaint above the bakery. It was super quiet being above a bakery and across from the ferry. We heard no bothersome noise at all. The beds and linens are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, there is nice comfortable furniture, and we felt right at home. As others have said, the bakery coupon is an extra touch that is classy and honestly just fun! I would stay again and struggled to leave. Thank you for such a lovely home away from home. Do not hesitate to stay here. Very convenient location. BIG FAN!!

George was quick to respond and helpful with a last minute booking. Space is centrally located to restaurants and activities.

The condo was peaceful and quite with the most beautiful views off the balcony. A great escape after a busy day in the down town. very clean, perfect size for a mother daughter trip. The StoneCliff Inn next door had wonderful food, welcoming atmosphere and great coffee. We want to return next fall!

Our 2nd visit was just as wonderful as our first, 34 years ago! Cedarwood Condos were a great location for us; the bicycles were the best secret; we used them every day! It was wonderful to be close to Stonecliffe and all the amenities; as well as a quick ride downtown for the day/afternoon. Such a jewel on Mackinac Island!

An excellent space on the island. Reasonably priced, clean, quiet, and close to the walk paths and shore. Also, an amazing shower. Excellent water pressure!

Patrick's place was great! We stayed in the winter which is a really unique time to visit. Lot's of snow and no tourists made for a fun completely different experience.

We had a great time at Kim’s place. The view of the bridge from the balcony was amazing! The amenities were as listed and the bed was super comfortable. Highly recommend for your stay on Mackinac Island.

This was our second time using this company for a Mackinac Island-area vacation rental. We loved both places and had a great experience both times! This place feels even more spacious than the pictures look and was perfect for us and our toddler. Location couldn’t be more convenient in the middle of downtown St. Ignace and I loved watching the sun come up over the lake from the balcony. We are staying on Mackinac Island for the second half of our trip and I’m so sad to move to a regular hotel room after this - can’t beat the convenience of a dishwasher and washer/dryer when traveling with a small child. Really loved this place. Thanks for a great stay!

James was an outstanding host! Very kind and very helpful, quick to answer questions and respond, he was very personable. The home was really comfy and relaxing, very clean! the view was beautiful and we had everything we needed and more avalible, loves this spot and would recommend to others, plan to stay there in the future!
