Suite 105 | 1 Bed/1bath + Living & Kitchen

It's a cute spot with a retro vibe. The room itself was very clean, and the location is reasonably close to the main town areas of Sault Ste. Marie. It's not exactly walkable to get there, but within a reasonable drive. There is a surprisingly decent little market / grocery just across the parking lot. The rooms are located in what was an old motel from back in the day. When we pulled in it was a bit disconcerting as you get the sensation you are the only one staying in an abandoned motel. Like, how many movies have started with that plot line?! More people eventually checked into the other rooms, so that made it seem a bit less remote. This was my second time staying, so I kind of knew what to expect...this time. Nicely decorated and very clean. My two complaints would be: 1) There were no facial tissues in the room (a pet peeve of mine) and 2) Only one hand soap dispenser, so it had to be shared between the bathroom and the kitchen. Ugh! Could also use a shelf in the bathroom.

Bayside Guest House

SaraRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Beautiful view of the water! Close to many good restaurants & shops. This room is connected to an inn, and the large, shared deck is connected to the bedroom and living room. There could be noise from other guests while you are there. The entrance is next to the lobby with the vending machine, so again- the other guests will be nearby. We enjoyed exploring the area… beautiful location!

Cute and cozy getaway space.

Bridget is nice and easy to talk to. The place is clean, clutter-less and pictures in the listing don’t do justice to the actuals. Would definitely come back if given a chance. Bridget and this listing are highly recommended!
