we had a superb getaway, ideal for timeout and a recharge. everything was as described and the mattress was so comfortable. is now on our favourites lists to return back to.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Lovely cabin and had everything we needed for our stay, hot tub and chiminea are nice touches to have. Mickleton is walkable and we really enjoyed the recommendations in the guide left for us - specifically the Kings Arms and Sarah’s Deli. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Would visit again - thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay inside Betty. It was extremely accurately described. We felt at home straight away by the facilities onboard. The view in the morning was fantastic, being woken up by cockerel was a lovely reminder of being in the countryside. The perfect break to wind down and relax. We were lucky with the weather mostly which made it even more magical. The lights around the outside at night was a lovely touch. The bathroom was delightful, with the underfloor heating working at all times. I’m sure we will back to see Betty. Would recommend to everyone.

Debbie’s place has an excellent location close to train stations, cafes, and it is also walkable to some attractions. The flat was very clean and comfortable for two people. We managed to get our suitcases up and down the long and narrow staircase with no issue. Debbie gave us helpful recommendations and was responsive before and during our trip. I would definitely stay again at Debbie’s when in London.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and all the amenities provided made the stay feel just like home. Our host was fantastic—very responsive, kind, and helpful with local recommendations. We spent a lovely long weekend in the house catching up with friends. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, and the room with twin beds was perfect for our 7 year olds. There is a patch of grass to play on, but by where you park the cars, not next to the house. Wasn’t a problem for us as we went out during the day, but in case that’s a necessity for you.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was clean, cosy and exactly as described. The location was perfect – quiet, yet close to everything we needed. Janet was a wonderful host: friendly, helpful and easy to reach. The bedrooms were comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the whirlpool after long days out. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Janet!

Me and my partner had a wonderful mid-week retreat at Tracy’s Annex! Welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco, the place was just lovely. We had access to the hot tub and the heated pool which was just amazing! It felt totally private, we were never disturbed but always just a message away if we needed anything- Tracy has some fab recommendations and knows the area so well. The walks around are beautiful and the wildlife we saw was brilliant! There’s so much I could say but my real highlight was Tracy’s 2 golden labs, they’ll come and say hello when out in the garden and they are such love bugs! Totally made my day as a dog lover! Would stay again and would recommend to others. X

Beautiful home and a lovely stay. It was spotlessly clean with all the amenities provided, TV with various subscriptions, a cosy bedroom and access to the garden and fields. Very good communication with the hosts and easy check in. A lovely touch was fresh eggs provided and milk in the fridge to help myself to. I was cycling and this was a perfect country stay to rest and recover. 5* :)

Really lovely stay with my Mum and nephew, great area, perfect if travelling to Legoland. Lovely restaurant in walking distance. Lots of thoughtful little extras. Bronwen was very welcoming, helpful and friendly - and has two very sweet dogs. Would definitely return and recommend thank you!!

The cottage is very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Lovely enclosed garden for our Retriever & lots of walks around the area. We were only on a stopover visit but we would like to stay longer in the future. Mike & Sue are excellent hosts

We had a wonderful long w/e stay at The Dairy whilst attending our sons wedding, the accommodation was extremely comfortable and well equipped, as the weather was warm and sunny we certainly made the most of the garden, eating out and grandchildren running about. There is a great, easy walk through the fields to a good pub on the river and the village of Elstead. Beth was incredibly kind and helpful, even sorted out a few of our wedding preparation problems - we thoroughly recommend The Dairy.

Lovely home, beautifully furnished. View of the River Thames from the upstairs terrace, particularly in the evening, really made it special. Peaceful place to sit and unwind with a nice glass of wine or just read a book listening to the birds and watching the families of ducks. Thank you, Rebecca we have a lovely short-break.

Jenny was an amazing host, greeted us on arrival and gave a brief but informative run down. The surroundings and location is beautiful, felt right at home and at one with the peaceful natural surroundings, watching the ducks, dragonflies and various species of birds by the stream you can lookout the doors from the living room was amazing. Local pub requires booking if you want food but is only a 5minute walk. Beautiful nature trails on the doorstep. Reading 20minute drive Pangbourne 10minute drive, would advise going to the swan pub. Overall we loved our stay and would love to return, really good value for money for what you get and a high end finish

Had another great stay at the eco lodge. Ideally placed outside Wallingford in lovely countryside and convenient for the Ridgeway and associated places. The eco lodge is private with its own parking and despite the roasting weather the week we were there, it kept a comfortable temperature inside. lovely big bed, excellent space to relax and with it's own kitchen and bathroom and all the amenities you could want. Kunzi the owners friendly cat is on hand to meet and greet and the field adjacent the front of the lodge is alive with wildlife. It's a great place to relax or use as a base for exploration. Recommend Wallingford and Henley on Thames for exploration and the Ridgeway for great walking and scenic views.

A little gem of a place! Don't let the exterior fool you! It's homely, peaceful and just a home from home once you are through the door with a cuppa in hand and slumped on the sofa! I could of hapilt stayed for weeks! The flat is within walking distance to Battersea Park (5 minute walk) and Chelsea (15-20 minute walk) which was perfect for my solo trip to see Chelsea in bloom. There are some great free parking spots local to the flat which is great if you plan on coming by car! The area felt safe and welcoming and I had no issues walking to and from the flat even quite late at night. The bus stop is round the corner and takes you to all the great spots in central London! The highlights from my stay were being welcomed by a beautiful bottle of red wine, the amazing shower that I struggled to get out of as it was just so relaxing and the ambience of busy London in the background whilst I read my book next to the fire wrapped in a blanket! I will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at Karen and Phil’s cottage. We didn’t get to meet Karen, however she sent us regular messages making sure we were comfortable/to ask if we needed anything. Phil was extremely friendly and available if we needed anything. He even taught my daughter how to walk a tight rope! On top of this we played tennis, had a swim in the outdoor pool and went for a lovely walk. The cottage was spotless with a beautiful garden, surroundings and extremely comfortable beds. We really felt that they had thought of everything you would need, especially if you have young children. My daughter loved playing with the bricks, the talking cactus and reading the books. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We would definitely visit again.

Absolutely beautiful—both the house and the surroundings! To stay in such a remarkable, comfortable, clean and beautiful, old place right in the heart of the cotswolds—it was truly lovely. So peaceful and quiet! Rachel was a kind and helpful host right next door. Make sure you pay good attention to her directions to get there—it was a little tricky. Also, the ceilings in the bathroom, living room and dining room really are only about 6 feet, with doorways and other things even shorter. We’re tall and we still loved it but it’s definitely something to keep in mind. The kitchen and bedrooms were all much taller. We’d love to return one day and stay again!!! Thanks you!

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

A home from home - ideal for either a short or long stay. Exceptionally well equipped, with everything you might need. Very clean and comfortable, in a delightful and secure and private setting. Rebecca was very welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. The best Airbnb we've stayed in and would definitely return when we are next in the West Sussex area.

Ali's place was perfect, a quiet oasis in a really nice area, we loved the local park, markets and great restaurants and it was all within walking distance or easy tube/bus ride of our favourite parts of London. Ali's home is relaxing and clean and as a host she was responsive and timely with very detailed instructions that made our life easy. Would love to stay again thanks Ali...
