Great place to stay in Bacalar with a really nice host.

If you want to have an extraordinary experience, away from tourists and with spectacular views, this is the right place! The lagoon is beautiful, the facilities are comfortable, to enjoy the outdoors! The kitchen is complete enough for cooking and drinking water is provided. A caretaker is present 24 hours a day and always ready to help you. Special mention to Fili, who lit a charcoal BBQ for us at 42 degrees Celsius!!! Our hosts are very responsive and quick. Just bring earplugs to sleep, because the road is busy and the birds sing very early in the morning. It's a real paradise!

The accommodation is pleasant, spacious and safe, Juan Carlos and his mother were very kind, they allowed us to enter before time since we were very tired of the flight, they gave us several recommendations, nearby there are several places to eat at any time, commercial squares in case it takes something and to go to the malecón in 10 minutes by car, to leave for Bacalar and Belize, it is very quick from that point.

Very nice and pleasant host. Very available and responsive. The space is impeccable. Clean, well-equipped, functional. Our family had a great time there. Great laundry area because XXL washing machine and super large clothesline on sheltered terrace for spreading everything out. Great. We recommend it without a second thought!

Juan Carlos the caretaker was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and willing to help with every question we had from restaurant recommendations to tours. Manik place was private and amenities were great! Next time we would love to stay longer time. The private lagoon access made it so much more than we expected. Overall 5 star from us and also wanted to mention this place came highly recommended by friends and family that had stayed here previously! Can’t wait to be back!

Our stay was very pleasant, for the very nice place and the house impeccable in everything and the host is very friendly , I recommend it a hundred percent.

An excellent place to rest, very comfortable beds and everything is very clean, they just needed to have a large mirror but everything else was very good, highly recommended. I went with my children and they were very comfortable in the place

I really liked Emma's apartment for its comfort. The attention to detail is noticeable to make the guest feel comfortable. It has the basic tools for cooking, in addition to providing water, salt, sugar, cooking oil, and coffee beans; which is not the case in many accommodations. I also liked that it has a private garage and swimming pool. The downside is that it's far from the village and shops. If you're driving, it's not a problem, as it's a 10-minute drive to downtown.

Nice 3 story condo complex with a pool to cool off. About 15 minute walk to town or 15 to 40 peso taxi ride. There is a more secluded beach access for 10 pesos at the bottom of the hill. Had the privilege of watching a baptism ceremony there. Good restaurants in the same area.

Everything is very good, Marely's Mamá welcomed us very well and they were very friendly,the place is very well located because it is not far but also not close to the busiest area so it allows you to reach asta walking but also allows you to rest because there is no noise

Lovely apartment close to town centre and lagoon. Free parking if you have a car. Lovely pool. The apartment was very clean, well supplied and hosts were very responsive.

The accommodation is perfect, it has two rooms with its full bathroom each, it has a main kitchen that is next to the living room and dining room, although it also has another smaller kitchenette in the second room, that was very useful since we were two separate couples and each one was able to make their meals without interrupting the preparation of the other. There is a pool in the facilities that is very nice and always clean. The apartment is modern, the towels and the covers are very clean. Another plus is that it has parking inside the premises and the entrances have a fence, which makes it feel more safe and comfortable. The center of Bacalar, is about 5-7 minutes walking, so it is very close. A thank you to Eli, who was always attentive to our stay, was always very kind and with a great disposition.

I went for work and although I didn't spend much time in the place, the short time I was there was quite nice, comfortable and quiet. I slept like a log, I felt more comfortable and cool in this place than in a hotel in the downtown area. Thank you!

This place is in an excellent location, walkable to ADO and grocery stores. Fruit market on the corner; Oxxo a few steps away, tortillineria, taqueria, everyone was very friendly. You a few steps away from 3 different parks. I know this neighborhood already, but this was the best stay that we've had in the area. Will definitely return.

Nice,cozy and clean apartment, host was very helpful and the place was comfortable.

Would stay here again in a heart beat! The staff is outstanding. They are accommodating and friendly. My husband found the bed a bit too hard and voila, a mattress topper was produced. I asked about places for public access to swim in the lagoon and a list of access points was sent immediately along with a map. They really want you to have a great stay! The unit (the Bamboo Suite) is exactly as shown in the photos . . . close to the lovely pool area and with its own private patio. It was squeaky clean and had everything we needed. Super close to everything, we parked the car and didn't need it. A great find and it was exactly what we were looking for, it is an Oasis indeed.
