Otters Holt: Dog friendly flat in converted barn

Unwind in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The two bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and includes log burner, Smart TV and a well equipped kitchen comprising oven and grill, induction hob and fridge. The dining table converts to a workstation and the contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

Grade II Cosy Cottage on edge of Exmoor

A Grade 2 listed Georgian Cottage in the heart of beautiful Bampton in Devon. There are shops, cafes, restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. A traditional butchers, fruit and veg shop, bakers, dehli and convenience stores are very close by. There are also a few other interesting shops. This historic Charter Town lies in mid Devon near the Devon/Somerset border on the edge of Exmoor National Park, with a 'Walkers Are Welcome' status. Easy access to both North and South coasts.

Old Parlour: Dog-lover’s peaceful/private caravan

Our static caravan is situated in the old parlour of our 16th Century home. Surrounded by beautiful views and countryside- it is quiet, private and rural. We are a little ‘off-grid’ - perfect place to read, see dark skies full of stars, have starlings swoop overhead and sleep in total peace. We are very dog and family-friendly here too- pets are allowed inside, there’s a private garden and access to a fully enclosed paddock to run around in off-lead/play footie. Kids are free to roam!

Mill Cottage, Templeton Bridge

This small two bedroomed cottage was built in 1800 when the Mill opposite was fully working. It is in a remote, quiet and secluded part of Mid Devon within an hour of both the North or South coasts of Devon. It is accessible down narrow single track country lanes. The nearest shops are in the town of Tiverton, five miles away. The broadband has been upgraded to Ultrafast fibre to the premises with speeds of at least 450mbps. However, there is no mobile phone signal in the valley.

The Cider Barn - a perfect place for two

Many years ago, this barn was used to press the apples from the farm's orchards to make cider. Now, thoughtful and creative restoration has turned it into a very special place for two, peacefully situated on our family-run organic dairy farm. Sitting high above the Culm Valley it has stunning views of our farm and the surrounding countryside and is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful north & south coast, Dartmoor & Exmoor National Parks. Welcome to my cosy home in the delightful village of Bampton. Easily accessible from Tiverton Parkway station and Junction 27 of the M5, it is a great base from which to explore beautiful Exmoor National Park, Wimbleball Lake, and within easy reach of Exeter, Taunton and the north and south coasts of Devon. Bampton has great pubs, excellent restaurants, coffee shops and a bakery. A great place for cyclists, walkers, guests visiting family or attending weddings.
