La Berthussie

La Berthusie is situated at the edge of Cussac a village in the Perigord/ limousine nature reserve. Peaceful and spacious it can easily host a family of 8 and more if needed. The house is surrounded by a vast garden, fruit trees, a chestnut orchard and a lovely pond. The village supermarket is a short walking distance from the house and so are the boulangerie, a cafe- restaurant/ pharmacie and the weekly market square. The area offres Soft hills, Lakes, historical sites, walking trails.

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

It offers the relaxation you need with self catering accommodation and is the ideal place to forget about stress and to unwind. Please note: The parking is for one car only. A small single-story apartment, with all the comforts, in a very peaceful setting. We built our own house with shipping containers. Come and enjoy an independent adjoining studio. Friends of the countryside and calm, welcome. Our dog, cat and chickens will be happy to host you.

Dating from the 17th century, you will be seduced by the atmosphere of yesteryear - exposed beams and stones, large fireplace, kitchen with internal bread oven... but it is a renovated cottage to live comfortably with central heating and wifi etc...
