Chautauqua Lake fishing vacation rentals

This was our fourth stay at Jeff and Anne’s beautiful lake home and it just gets better every year. So peaceful and the surroundings are just spectacular. Jeff was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for another wonderful vacation.

Great place to stay and a short walk to the lake. Very quiet!

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

We had a wonderful stay here! The house was impeccably clean, lots of fun stuff to keep the kids entertained, and plenty of space for our family. We hope to come back again!

Great place and even while staying in winter, I can see this place being great for the summer months as well. Super peaceful and private. Jane communicated great and very responsive. We weren’t expecting to have the driveway clearing from all the snow that fell, but they did and it was so nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb by the river! The place was clean, spacious, and came with tons of great amenities that made our trip super comfortable. The location was perfectly private—exactly what we were looking for to unwind and relax. One of the best parts was just sitting in the backyard, watching the geese play by the river. It was peaceful, scenic, and definitely the highlight of our trip.

Beautiful cottage right on the water. Would highly recommend. Farrah had excellent communication skills with everything. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you so much! Right around the corner to fabulous restaurants, tops, Wegmans and many more shops. Parks right down the street

My husband and I loved this place and we were able to bring our dog. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck, soaking in the beautiful view. We only slept in the main bedroom downstairs, but that bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We didn’t have the best weather, so the many streaming services was a plus. I would like to return in the summer. I didn’t realize that the water level of the lake in April would be so low. The two of us really enjoyed our stay, but this home would also be the perfect place for a family to rent.

Kathleen’s home was perfect! We felt comfortable from the beginning. It was well stocked with extras. A great place to visit with an elderly person, or someone with limited physical abilities. There was only two steps, and a walk in shower! I can’t wait to return when the weather is nicer so we can see the beach.

My cousins and I spent a weekend here for our annual book club “retreat.” The house is unbelievably well-pointed, with every kitchen gadget you could hope for and a variety of thoughtful touches throughout the home. Although we had a lot of rain and weren’t able to take full advantage of the lake amenities, we spent a lot of time on the porch and throughout the house, cooking, talking, and laughing. Two cousins brought their little ones and had no issues. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful, with lots of birds and other fun visitors (we saw a very fat beaver the last morning we were there!). We visited two wineries in Chautauqua and the drive was minimal. Kimberly had truly thought of every detail for a smooth visit and I would love to return!

We highly recommend Brenda’s place in Cassadaga. It is in a quiet, neighborhood with Cassadaga Lake within walk distance. Brenda is a great host- very responsive. We particularly liked the large kitchen space. Plenty of hot water and a good strong shower head in the bathroom. The house is very clean and exactly as described. We would look forward to staying here again. Please note that although the description states two people, there are two bedrooms, each containing a double bed. So the house adequately sleeps four.

Wonderful place!! Home has all amenities with huge full windows & high ceilings overlooking the lake in a great small community of 50 private homes with lovely & friendly neighbors. Proximity to Jamestown & Chautauqua institutions was great. Use of bike paths in adjoining Camp Chautauqua(100 acre site with 100 mobile trailer homes & 20 small fixed homes ) was great Also private tennis/pickelball court available at no cost on premises & large pool on adjoining camp property available as well as 2 boat docks.Great & safe for young children as community is private with no through streets & most kids & people use golf carts. There is adjoining campsite playground on lakefront which is great for young children. Bring a boat or kayak along & use Chautauqua institutions nearby for nightly entertainment as well as day lectures , art instruction courses sailing school, variety of day courses & lectures with great theater & opera productions. only 3 miles away.

It was a great weekend! Plenty of room for our families to play and hang out! The host was easy to contact and helped us when we accidentally locked ourselves out of a room. The remodeled rooms were really pretty! When it's all updated, it's going to be a really amazing space!

We had the most relaxing weekend at John’s house. Clean, cozy, peaceful. The hot tub was amazing, the bed was comfy…it was a perfect weekend. John was always quick to respond while booking and we appreciated him stopping over at check in to show us the workings of the house. We plan to be back!

That view and being right on the lake is outstanding. Friendly Airbnb hostess with tons of advice of what to do in the area. Amish are close by so check out their markets, and just enjoy that outstanding view and lake access on a private beach. I loved everything about my stay here. Thank you so much! You can’t go wrong here—— also, your own private parking spot in an area that has hard to find parking…

our 2nd time renting the cabin for girls weekend get-together and both times the home met the description and beyond. very well stocked with kitchen essentials (dishes, cups, bowl, cutting boards utensils etc). clean and well kept & maintained Darren was a very responsive host, responded in under 15 minutes to mssages. . he provided updates and reminders from time of booking to check out without being overbearing or intrusive the home is located in beautiful surroundings and would highly recommend both the rental and the host!!

Visiting Mary’s while the lake was frozen over was neat! We were able to see fishermen and their huts out in the middle of the lake. Mary even provided binoculars so that we could look out across. The windows out the back window facing the lake were perfect for viewing. There’s even an upstairs room with a deck and a view as well! We also took full advantage of the fireplace. It made our visit super cozy which was exactly what we were hoping for! We’re definitely keeping this place in mind for another trip - we’d come back in winter and also for summer to use the deck and other amenities available outside!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful setting, look no further! This cabin has everything you need for a perfect retreat! We found it to be very clean and exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be staying again in the warmer months! Thank you!

Great location across from trails and close to Ellicottville and hiking areas. The soaking tub was a nice addition and a beautiful spot to relax.

Cozy location for our family get together with three families, including three young kids. The weather was chilly some of the time so we spent a good bit of time indoors and there was enough space for our group of nine. Kayaking in the lake was fun and the fire pit was lovely. Great sunset over the lake. Located right next to a large bridge, which is under construction. There was loud jackhammering throughout the day. Quiet at night though. The four-bed bedroom is accessed through the double bed bedroom, both of which have very low ceilings.
